    So, the Sorceress died by the Assassin, the Assassin left the order, the Barbarian lived and played a major role in the d3 events, the Amazon went back to her islands and became a War Matron, the Paladin most likely died by Malthael, the Druid most likely is protecting villagers from Goatmen in the wild and the Necro became a totall badass legendary master of his own order. All in all, 4-5 out of 8 had actually pretty good ends to their stories!!

      I don't think the Paladin died. Homeboy stood up and went toe to toe with andarial, durial, mephisto, diablo and baal. If Malthael killed 9/10 of the paladins or crusaders, ill be willing to bet that hes the grand inquisitee of a paladin order

It was probably an order and something Natalya didn't want to do at all. whole problem with D3 was basically Blizzard was already falling apart. Blizzard North was always worth most in a creative sense. I think D3 was nearly finished and then another team sort of remade that nearly finished product. Sort of what D&D did with GRRM's story, they oversimplified it, took out its heart and essence and tried to turn it into a soulless cashgrab.
      Something I always remembered: D3 didn't have a necromancer (initially) because the D2 necromancer was 'too succesful' (picked too often as a class).
      So most players find something awesome - better remove it... It says a lot many of us have our hopes pin on a remake where they had to promise not to change the game. Thank God they messed up Reforged first, at least now they have somewhat of a clue - not to mess up this one as well... Well, at least not as much as reforged...
      It's sad when owners of a company lose touch with reality and start believing in themselves. Happens a lot, sadly. A lot of managers make similar mistakes. A company is more than just money. It's a (paid) service. If you don't serve anything, there will be no money...

    I always found it chilling how Deckard Cain simply reffered to them as "Heroes" no one wants to see their heroes ruined, so that he doesnt give them names, or almost details its as if he is trying to hide part 2 to the story. (Then again it could just be me)

    • @marhawkman303

      yeah, and he doesn't say much about the enemies either. He plays it off as "I'm just a mortal, what would I know?" but.... he's the guy who's seen this shit. He's the guy telling you about it.
      In my first play I came to suspect it in the Horadric sanctuary. Ask Cain who the mage was... and he flat refuses to answer. At first you think he's saying he doesn't know who it was, but.... then you realize it's not that. He's actually telling you he doesn't know if the mage is actually in control of his own body.

      @Belanduraz Год назад +1

      @@marhawkman303 I know canon names were revealed, but they really only exist for a definitive name, because Diablo 2, 3, and 4 all have Barbarians, and it might get a little confusing calling a character 'the barbarian' and the Summoner in the Sanctum is Jazreth from Diablo 1.

    • @marhawkman303
      @marhawkman303 Год назад

      @@Belanduraz Stil though, Cain's comments about Jazreth have a bit of a twist to them. My interpretation was he was... well.... possessed... or Cain suspected him to have been so. Cain's "I don't know" sort of remark.. means Cain doesn't know for sure if that's true, and also doesn't know for sure who/what was in control when you fight the Summoner.
