"App State cannot score here." Glad we have these commentators to keep us aware of these key details.
My dad was YELLING ‘GET DOWN’ at the TV and then he was happy when App Clutched, R.I.P. My Ears
App State the main character at this point
The best part that gives me chills of the Hail Mary. #2 receiver saw what happened and went straight to blocking. That’s the beauty to me of that whole sequence.
That's hockey player level awareness!
That is in insane. App State lately damn!!
The pride of Boone NC!!! I used to live there as a kid. Much pride, way to go👍👍🏈🏈👍👍🏈🏈👍👍
This teams chemistry is absolutely insane
That's about as miraculous a play as Franco Harris's Immaculate Reception for the Steelers against the Raiders almost 50 years ago. Crazy!!
2:24 number 43 lmfaoooooooo💀💀💀💀💀
This will still be watched on the internet 100 years from now. Take it that the world still exist
Great coaching at the end by Troy...
App was left with 2 seconds and a prayer. Nothing the coaches could have done better at that point.
Exactly. Only thing they could have done better was to punt the ball after the safety, because the clock would start right at the punt
Well they probably coulda not given up 2 before they punted instead of giving up 2 and then punting
Absolutely amazing!!!
Yep #2 made such a heady block!!
After choosing to go for it on 4th down inside their own 10 with a small lead and less than a minute to play, Troy deserves that.
Choosing to take a safety to make it a 2 point game, then squibbing the kickoff allowing the other team a decent shot at a gw field goal, and THEN giving up a 55+ yard hail mary on 4th down.....maybe some of the worst coaching ive ever seen in my entire life.
aka how to lose a job in 30 seconds
@@SBomb121 i can see maths are not your best
@@SBomb121 and now the other team can kick a field goal instead of being forced to get a touchdown
@@SBomb121 no it’s not, punt with a 4 point lead
Troy fan here, congrats to App State. I can’t help but admire the tenacity. I’ll be pulling for these guys the rest of the season.
App State fan here. Thanks for the kind words. Troy played one heck of a game and actually deserved the win. They took advantage of the same things UNC did two weeks ago. Unfortunately for Troy, the football God's just had a different agenda today. I'll be pulling for you guys as well. Who knows, maybe we can have round 2 in the SBC Championship game...
I AM SO UPSET. I WENT TO A FUNERAL EARLIER TODAY AND THEN THIS HAPPENS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
Was lookin' for ya. I can only offer my condolences, for both the funeral & the game. At least y'all kept it close 'til the end, unlike my shit show of a program.
@@notJCS Who do you root for?
@@saintbrownthetrojan Ga. Tech. Just finished getting sodomized by Ole' Miss. At home.
Y'all deserved the win. My son goes there and y'all took it to them. Just a freak thing
@@revpgesqredux Sadly, we did outplay them. But we take it to Marshall next game. Go Trojans.
#2, you the real MVP. Snap turn into a perfect block. Guaranteed at least half of the guys in the NFL would draw a holding penalty if they were in the same situation lol
There is nothing like college football 🏈. Greatest game ever
Interesting seeing this at the end of the season. App State ends up going 6-6 and don't even go to a bowl game, despite this incredible victory as well as their thumping of then-#6 Texas A&M.
Meanwhile, Troy only went Undefeated after this game, including a Bowl win over UTSA.
College Football rules!
God's an App State fan for sure. WOW
4:13 "This will go down as one of the craziest finishes in college football."
*Fast forward to 10/15/22*
Tennessee: "Hold my beer"
Now this is what college football is all about baby, great job!! 🏈🏈🏈
2:08 What a great play by #2 on App Sate on the last play blocking after the tip was caught, he might have been able to tackle him short if he didn't pick up that block
Way to go Appalachian State! They’ve been a blast to watch ever since they upset Michigan years ago! 🏈
That’s the beauty of college football , play to the end and always knock it down
today alone has been INSANE
This season is crazy for every team

Great game! ESPN, please provide game feeds with no commentary.
WR# 2 made a great key block to get his teammate the winning Touchdown.
CHILLS. this is what college football is all about.
