@@anguscollectibles7023 I have some original, early 50's mint set toners, particularly a rainbow toned Roosevelt dime, a couple of quarters, and a couple of Benji's I want to send in. Also a classic commemorative "Pilgrim" that has amazing eye appeal. I keep hoping the lead times come down, but so far it seems like they are getting longer...
You brought up another good fact. The reason they keep your coins for six or seven months is so you will totally forget what you actually sent in. I truly believe this company is defying it’s members by stealing from them.
I really love your channel, you are underappreciated. if you make shorts every day you will get a ton of subs. just a tip. I would love to see this channel succeed
I'm so sorry for your losses. I wish to make a first consignment of U.S.A modern coins to PCGS from Ireland but these kind of videos are a wake up call for sure !!
HAHA bro I was trying to figure out what that humming was in the background. Thought it might've been feedback from my airpods lol. I'm dying laughing right now
Love the proof picture you included in the order 😆 …Glad it worked! Looks like they made you pay with the other coins. They prob used your box as a paperweight around the office just to really frustrate the process 😂
Thanks! Gotta play these games with the graders so they don't mess with my grades. think a paper weight is too generous.. This might've gone through the Antarctic office before being sent back.. Via messenger pigeon..
Ive submitted one order to NGC, 4 month return, no designations requested. Submitted 14 coins to ANACS with all variety designations and conservation on a summer special for a total cost of $22 a coin and got them back in 6 weeks. Currently sending to ANACS on their fall 15 day special. I say, if its for you, send to ANACS. Unless having the "PCGS" holder will net you another few hundred or thousand dollars, screw em.
Stay tuned - just got back an order from ANACS and I am about to record the openning. Theres also a new grading service out there that im thinking I might have to try. Definitely agree with you here
Do you compare the varieties to the pictures on pcgs website? You've got to make sure it matches 100% to what they have, study extremely hard. I've found many DDOs and DDRs on various denominations. If it doesnt match 100% then do not send it in. Also for the no fg variety it cannot have a shred of evidence that it's there, it has to be 100% clear. Machine doubling is also called shelf doubling cause it looks a shelf or kind of like step, the metal needs to be the same height as the main lettering and you will see clear splits in the seraphs. Hope I helped you. Awesome vids, love unboxing videos
Yea I was using that and the NGC Variety plus. Figured I'd try my hand at varieties but you're right. They are extremely difficult to get. Thanks for the tips!
ouch that one hurt! oh well . we keep trying at some point we get things to line up. if it was easy everyone would do it and it would take 1 yr or more to get our orders back.keep rockin my man!!!!
Some times it’s better to buy graded coins I’m still scared to submit any because of this bullshit, stay strong I’m going to follow you to learn from your mistakes lol .Peace 😢😢😢
I'm sure you did,, but did you check the box and fill out the variety attribution section ?? You also have to add the additional fee for the attribution...also you can opt to not have it holdered if it doesn't meet the attribution... good luck,, nice coins
A friend of mine sent in a dozen coins, all for variety designations.. they were all sent back w/o them. Come to find out that he forgot to ask and pay for the variety service. Wound up paying twice for his own mistake. PCGS has gotten really bad the turnaround times and customer service has gone down the tubes.
Ouch. Not the worst outcome. Now that he has them slabbed and graded he can send them back for the variety designations and they cannot change the grade on him
I didn’t even receive the right coin back. I want to know where in the hell my coin is? They sent me a coin back with glue on it and said it was ungradable but I know my coin was worth over $1000. I will never have them grade my coins again.
OMG! You've got to be kidding. I will make sure to photograph all of my coins, as I'm boxing them up, if I decide to send anything to them. But, with such $hitty customer service/turn around time I see no reason to do business with them.
Wrap machine damage? Wheel marks? Wow. You would think these issues would be reflected in the overall grade and not make the coins ungradable. I'm gonna reconsider sending anything to them. They take too long, over charge and then bend you over. Such servicing..
I like to see pennys and other low denomination coins sent in for grading. It gives a good perspective of how they would grade them and whether or not they would be worth sending in. Thanks.
I’ve nvr sent coins off and if I ever do I’ve no doubt I’ll be disappointed lol. I have to say though and this isn’t meant to be rude but I laugh so hard when ppl do these PCGS unboxing vids and then they just get destroyed. Someone should make a compilation of ppl getting reamed by PCGS.
5 MONTHS! OH HELL NO! ANYONE wanna be partners with me in a new coin grading company? We will use cameras/light spectrums and digital scanning to determine grade... 🏴☠️♻️ And take 30 days or less, guaranteed
@@anguscollectibles7023 similar turnaround times for me using economy level service and I live just down the street from their offices. Do you think including the photo of the mint-sealed proof set really helped? My guess is no graders ever saw it.
@@expoboy52 well they folded it up and sent it back, so I'm pretty positive someone there saw it. I have another vide coming where I pull a quarter from a proof set and it came back with an issue.. The photo didn't hurt, so I'll keep doing that as needed probably

Why are you grading these cards
You need to do a research on the variety. There's certain keys that make it that variety. If they don't match up, you don't get it.
