One travel assignment I was working at a critical access hospital, and we had to LifeFlight a patient from the PACU. The CRNA thought the flight nurses were super cool, and she asked how much they got paid. The flight nurse said “Same as any ol’ nurse.” And the CRNA said, “oh never mind then”😅
Lmao.. I don't blame her.
Love that she acknowledges that she has tools .. and if the patient doesn't make it, it's likely because her and her partner didn't have the tools needed to save his/her life.
So much confidence , skill + autonomy are required in flight nursing.

Can you go over the cost analysis of ABSN programs? I'm wanting to get my second degree in an ABSN track, but most schools around me are $50K. Some say this is robbery, but I've also heard the argument of having 2 extra years of income as a nurse rather than still being in school. It essentially feels like you're paying for your time. Are they worth it?
