At 16:15 there was an evil/greedy line: Let edgar resolve, take 5, deluge. Next turn cast mastery, and hope the opponent leaves edgar in the graveyard so that he will return as a coffin. Then tale's end the return trigger, stranding edgar in the graveyard.
If they realize what you are planning, they can return edgar to hand, but now you still have tale's end.
This also relies on them not finding reanimation like nullpriest too soon.

hey I just wanna say, the game audio is WAY louder than your voice, it's hard to hear you talking when stuff is happening in the game

I must say, one of the most satisfying things I've ever done is Narset's Reversal a Thought Distortion. My opponent quit immediately, but it was hilarious. Since that day, I use it in all my Brawl decks that use blue.

I had a couple of games where I thought my opponent left, but I talked to him later in Discord and found out he was playing on his phone and his office called 🙂 He was trying to play and talk at the same -- major fail
Most of my work is just waiting around for something to happen, but every now and then when I'm gaming something does happen and we have to bail on the game. :(

Regarding the behavior of that last opponent, to be honest the MTGA client is so unstable and so sensitive to the most occasional and minimal packet loss, that I no longer assume oppo is salty or anything. It's most likely that they are experiencing some weird bug and don't know how to deal with it xD
The number of games I lost just because I couldn't play for a crash or another...
The fast ALT-F4 technique and rejoin as soon as you see something odd has been invaluable though.

Well... I also have to withstand everytime the urge to immediatly scoop when I see that Teferi hit the opps board. It is really hard to play against a good blue/white control player when you have a deck consisting out of creatures and the like. I mostly play my "nine lives/solemnity" combo deck and THAT deck is just terrible against blue/white control (in fact ANY blue control deck). I lose with that deck against blue/white control almost every time.
Oh the Brawl feels so refreshing. I missed it.

Brawl content is what I live for. It's definitely my favorite MTG game mode. Eventually I'll ascend to playing Commander IRL, but until such a time comes, Brawl is where I shall be.

i use this same idea of a "teferi " deck with faramir prince of ithilien as the commander and it works great
Arguably the most important thing to do when building a deck is to modify it to beat the algorithm.

Your theory on the first sliver player needs to be true.
It's funny how many people scoop to frustration. I can't imagine scooping at full health with your opponent at 6. You could easily still win. It's not over til it's over.

Random question, but being a newer player on arena, what’s the best way to build an arena library? Using gems to buy packs of the current set to stock wildcards for other decks i want? Wish if you bought the paper version of a card you could get a digital copy :)
Finally! I was collecting control just for the sake of this commander, whom no one has played since the beginning of the set. It's good that there's a video on it now.
On paper I prefer the new Lavinia, she is from the Clue "set" so unfortunately not on Arena, but the ramp it provides, incentivising instant answer and investigating more times than alquist, so providing more draw consistently to me selled better to me

The algorithm is so stupid. Deck strength is way more important than the commander. There really shouldn’t be a matchmaking algorithm at all

Immoral? Come on now, this is Brawl we're talking about. We all have at least one deck that is a netdecked tier 1 list that runs a less than optimal Commander solely because we know we can get away with it.

every blue white deck ist the same doesnt matter whos at the helm, its counterspells, board wipes and extra turn spells
This one is different because he switched a meta control commander so the algorithm would place him the lower categories of meta and he could torture them.
