At the same time I am sensilble enough not to do it if I need a net of discs and pads straight afterwards. Obviously that strongly depends on the amount and way of tracking it. but in general...do they survive a "normal" track day?
We love steels, combine them with Pagid RS29 pads and they are unbeatable especially for the relative cost. Ccbs are better with Pagid RSC1 pads and even better still are Surface Transform disks with same pads.
