And I believe you. But I suspect that the coffee isn't the true cause of the problem, although it could be. That's what we help people to figure out.
How do you fix your anxiety and stress when you can't get out of it?
That's a great question. I would say that lots of people have stress and anxiety and don't have IBS. And in a lot of people, it's their IBS that is causing their stress and anxiety.

After you have cleared candida , could anxiety and stress be the cause of IBS? That's my question because I was on medicine for candida, and the doctor said my problem was more complex than candida but didn't know what. Could continued stress and anxiety be the cause of IBS? And if so how do you fix that when you can't get out of it?
In my experience stress and anxiety are often blamed when people can't find the true underlying cause. My suspicion is that there is a lot more to the story than stress. We'd be happy to work with you to figure it out.

I see some interesting things that may not be resolved. And you may not have cleared Candida, either. That's very difficult to do, even when you're trying hard to do that. I'll send you a message via the patient portal.
I know exactly what caused my ibs! In 2019 I somehow contracted Cdiff out of nowhere and went through almost a year of rounds and rounds of Vancomycin treatments. Then when that didn’t work I took Dificid. Finally i negative for cdiff but was never the same since! My gut has NEVER been the same! Now I have bouts of IBS all the time. So they called it post infection inflammation! Great name but no help lol! I’m sure my microbiome was greatly affected but none of their solutions worked or made it worse. Eat more fiber, take Metamucil go on the FODMAP diet, take probiotics! So my question is have you ever worked with a case similar to mine? I’m actually in the Seattle area and I’m sure you have heard of both my GIs haha.
Hi! Thanks for commenting. Yes, we treat a lot of post infectious IBS. And yes, your microbiome was probably greatly affected. We need to sort out exactly how it was changed so that we can apply the proper treatment. It's very doable. We'd love to work with you!
