About IBS Treatment Center
===========================
Dr. Stephen Wangen, co-founder and Medical Director of the IBS Treatment Center, and his staff have successfully helped over 10,000 people resolve irritable bowel syndrome and chronic digestive problems since 2005.
Some patients have had IBS symptoms so severe that they spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital. Others are suffering alone at home and are no less frustrated with the impact that it is having on their lives. The thread that tied them all together was that they had never seen an IBS expert (much different than a gastroenterologist), a doctor whose only mission is to help people solve IBS.
Patients work with us from around the country and the world via our telemedicine services. Get back your life! Work with us via telemedicine. Visit the IBS Specialists at ibstreatmentcenter.com - Наука

Thank you, doctor! My Foood Explorer IgG test results should be delivered tomorrow and before this video I had watched a video from a US doctor, who told that IgG testing is absolutely meaningless for food intolerance. Now you've appeased me, I know I'm on the right path and my money is well spent!😊
I'm glad that it was helpful.
@@IBSTreatmentCenter You know what? I've received the test for 286 foods and I've got no intolerance at all! Zero! Now I have to look for other causes of my problems...
@@mnosjr That's generally the idea. But keep in mind that they could show up under several different antibodies, and that quality control varies between labs. And that there are foods they didn't test.
You're right! I didn't want to watch this one! However yesterday I ate a juicy, delicious peach and ended up in "symptom land." Now I know that I have to know everything I can about this subject. Your incredible patience and the information you give is gratefully acknowledged.
Thank you for sharing that! I'm thrilled that it's helpful.
very helpful , thanks doc
My pleasure. Thank you for taking the time to let me know.
Thank you for this excellent video with such a comprehensive explanation. Is there an internationally available IgG/IgA test that you would recommend? I'm based in Europe, Poland.
Unfortunately I don't have an answer for that.
Do you have any opinion on the GAPS diet?
It's highly unlikely to solve your IBS.
Can I ask you if you do know anything about severe consistent bloating I am at the end of my tether and this is making me very miserable. I’ve had colonoscopy and endoscopy and gone through and to go through a lot of food deprivation as in nice foods. It’s almost like the nicer, the food, the worse, the bloating I’m getting nowhere with my doctors and hospitals here in Ireland, I have been told that blood test show I am allergic to something but they don’t know what I also have a gallstone that’s meant to be small and all these doctors are giving me different opinions and I don’t know what to do. Do I send off for a kit online to test me for allergies it’s making me utterly miserable. Thank you for reading this
That is one thing that could be helpful. It's worth trying.
Start a carnivore diet, then add leafy greens. See Jordan Peter's diet
I came up high for igg casein. I have drank tons of milk, cheese, yogurt, ect my whole life and haven't had any noticeable symptoms. I quit all dairy for about a month and haven't noticed a difference. So this test is worthless?? I got tested to begin with bc I have gastritis or a stomach ulcer
That doesn't mean that the test is useless. It means that there is more to your puzzle than that. Either that, or it's going to take longer than a month. If you've been eating it all your life, one month off it isn't very long. Lots of celiacs don't have symptoms either. Doesn't mean that they should eat gluten.

Im confused the best way to find out what foods is causing a reaction is through elimination yet some foods dont cause any symptoms?
That's a very good observation. It's not the best way, but it's a valid way. They are each important ways to test for food reactions.
If my gums and roof of mouth get itchy and i get and diarrhea with raspberries is that an allergy or intolerance?
This happens with avocados and bananas too
It's semantics. You can call it either. There are no scientific standards for the use of those two words. Choose the one you like!
Are psoriasis caused by an allergy or would it be a symptom of celiac disease?
It could be either.
Ive always said an intolerance is something your body reacts badly to but won't kill you.
An allergy has the potential of death by anaphylaxis.
But then there's environmental allergies.
Research papers indicate that IgG mediates pro- and anti-inflammatory activities, and that commercially available tests don't distinguish between these, making their results not dependable.
No paper says that about celiac testing. That idea comes from research on IgE mediated anaphylaxis reactions. Within that context it's preferable to see IgG antibodies rather than IgE antibodies. But that's a long ways from proving that antibodies have anti-inflammatory properties. Researchers often overstep and make assumptions and statements that they can't prove. What we do know is that normal healthy people don't have antibodies against food. Antibodies to food are always a sign that something is wrong. The immune system shouldn't be reacting to food.
Thank you for the answer.
Most doctors don't recognize intolerances.
Agreed.
