I finally figured that I have a candida overgrowth when I started probiotics to heal my gut from a bad bout with a food borne illness. They worked well for over a month then they started making me feel illl, + stomach pains + low grade fever. It took me a while to figure out that the rice noodles that I added to my diet as something easy to digest caused the deterioration of my health. When I eat Protein, in small quantities, the symptoms subside. I dealt with a candida overgrowth at least 20 years ago. Oregano Oil was a life saver. I just purchased some. Hopefully, it will help alleviate this yeast overgrowth.

Ive been killing candida for over 2 years. I think i finally found a good routine. At one time I was taking a tablespoon of food grade diatomaceous earth, caprylic acid, cloves, and four drops of oil of oregano along with zeolite to help support my liver and take the toxins out. I did that for about 6 weeks. And then slowly stopped taking diatomaceous earth. Then gradually stop taking oil of oregano. I'm still taking the clove until I run out of capsules, and I'm still taking the caprylic acid. So far. I think this is the best I've been.

I am so glad to see you address this topic. Some years ago I had a traumatic accident that also resulted in a hard to fight body-wide infection. That battle was one, but left me with a hideous case of candida overgrowth which turned out to be harder to knock down than the first. But we did get a handle on it. Just like you mentioned, I had to change my diet (strictly in my case), use both natural and prescription agents, and lastly, incredible patience to get thru the repeated die-off phases. To this day, I have to be smart and not let it get an advantage. Another benefit I had by cutting out all those sugary foods I craved was that I trimmed down significantly and also had way less joint pain. Anyone who has had to have an intense or lengthy antibiotic treatment could be candidates for a candida backlash.
I’ve suffered w candida overgrowth for years! Now it’s so bad I’m now having allergies to foods I never did before! This sucks! The worse thing about this is when u go to the Dr. They NEVER CHECK U For THIS!!!’
The doctors don't check for it, because they want you sick! It makes them moNEY! They practice sorcery, their medications are magic they don't fix the problem they slow it down or hide the problem, Hospitals need to be non profit and run by nuns!
Ive tried most things and candida still wont go away. 1. starving it doesnt work. 2. starving it + anti fungals doesnt work. 3. starving it + anti fungals + biofilm breakers doesnt work. what i am trying now that seems to be promising is: 1. lower carbs but keep carbs in to feed gut microbiome (some fiber and resistance starch) 2. anti fungal nystatin to kill the yeast. 3. repopulate gut with sporebased probiotics to take over candidas place. i will report back

I really appreciate that you actually give advice to people before they are your patient. I appreciate all the information you give in your videos. You seem to really care about people suffering more than money! 😊 Thank you so much for answering people’s questions.
Hi there. In desperation I came across this video. I really appreciated the way you gave ranges to explain minor and moderate cases versus severe. Very informative and it made my symptoms feel validated. I have likely had candida overgrowth for 6+ years (only recently diagnosed via GI MAP), as well as leaky gut. Of course, the indigestion, belching and GI issues are horrendous and never end, but my truly unbearable and debilitating symptom that completely rules my life is the brain fog. Over the years, without knowing what I had or how to kill the candida (and feeding it the wrong things), the brain fog has gotten so out of control that I feel intoxicated all times of the day and have faintness (not actually fainting but feeling like I might). This treatment gave me lots of hope, and two days ago marked one week since starting the regimen my doctor put me on to kill the yeast: antifungal supplements, strict diet, and lifestyle changes. I know it is only day 9 of the treatment, and my GI MAP detected very high candida levels, but I am so used to things not working that I fear (for my physical and mental health) that this will be another fail. I know you mentioned that it can take weeks to see a difference. I just would like to know if it sounds normal, with my very high candida levels, that I am still not feeling much better at day 9? Thank you, just feeling desperate for relief…:( -Julia
Hi Julia. Thanks for sharing all of that. 9 days is only the beginning. You'll get there, but it can take awhile. But everything you wrote about sounds like Candida. I have candida for almost 10 years now I have tried medicine of all kind but to no avail I hope I can treat it by your information so I can stop worrying about it
I suffer from candida since a year. Tried several diets already. Vegetarian, carnivore, anti-candida… Always with anti-fungals. Nothing helped… Are fermented foods ok to eat? I eat different fermented foods now. Milkkefir from raw goatsmilk, sauerkraut, miso, natto, tempeh, Boullardii that i put in some fruit and let fermented, Yoghurt with the bacteria Gasseri, Kamboucha in moderation. Still use anti-fungals like Oregano, garlic, Mct-oil… I think the problem is stress-related. Hate my job. One month to go then something else. Need to change that… So my question was… Are fermented foods ok to rebuild my gut and to push Candida more out?
Fermented foods are trick. They aren't a yes or no answer. For example, if you happen to be reactive to the food, fermenting it isn't likely to be any better. And there are different types of fermentation, bacterial and yeast. And I wouldn't recommend yeast fermentation for treating Candida. Also, it's possible that you don't have the right antifungal to treat your particular strain of Candida. And of course stress doesn't help either. Don't give up. You can figure it out!
Kefir and Saurerkraut never did anything for me but cause histamine related issues never did anything that felt like a full Detox only thing I noticed my skin got smoother but the histamine issues werent worth it and you cant just push through them, but when I started taking a multi strain Probiotic Supplement with Acidpholius and Bifido strains I experienced intense die off for almost a week with Flu like symptoms until I felt better Acidpholius is a Histamine Neutral Strain and Bifido actually is known to degrade histamine problem is lot of fermented foods have histamine raising strains, Store bought probiotic yogurts were only making the overgrowth worse too for me I could tell cause my dandruff and skin was getting worse cause they contain too much sugar most of them have about 14 grams ! not only that they have histamine raising strains as well. I can show an article that does prove Kefir has antifungal properties apparently the yeasts are beneficial and not pathogenic type like Candida and that could explain why my skin improved, but if your somebody like me that has Histamine Intolerance its a no go. I have a feeling you can get rid of Histamine Intolerance once you correct your microbiome though having more good than bad bacteria and I plan on fixing that with my Probiotic Supplement but not Fermented food cause I doubt it will. You should add Ginger to your antifungal list too, its good for Candida /SIBO as long as you dont have problem with Sacylites.
Hey milk is the cause of it mostly. You got to drop all dairy. Do food allergy test if you wish. I was the same. Milk kefir yoghurt. Made ne feel awful. Thought I was dead. 2 years dairy free and I'm alive again. Celery. Juice will help. Take it every day
OMG I have been like zombie for over 30 years. sad but, I could have been more thrusted myself than wasting time on useless medical clinics from the get go! …I once suspected about this candida problem some years ago, but I didn’t dig it into further to learn more …now finally I suddenly experienced with watery pumps all over the body with horrible itching ..,I initially thought something wrong with my liver and really worried it but finally finally I got the the help I needed. The good news is that I had already resorted to change my diet and adopted gut cleansing methods that I’m still continuing which gave me a good clue of relief and that’s how I came closer to the final solution of fully understanding it … I thank you so so much and it’s wonderful to get such info at hand now …🙈
That's awesome! I'm so glad that you are feeling better. Stay tuned. I'm currently creating a "Conquering Candida" online course for people exactly like you!
Does candida cause allergy symptoms? Tightness of throat, nasal congestion, etc? Whenever I eat anything that my body use to tolerate I have a mild allergic reaction. I’ve noticed eating meat, eggs, yogurt, and veggies doesn’t cause the same effect as fruit and other foods. I’ve never had a good allergy in my life and it seems like I’ve become allergic to almost everything I ate that was healthy.
There are many reasons that can happen, and Candida is one of them. We've certainly had many people describe feeling reactive to just about everything they eat. We'd be happy to work with you on sorting that out.

Pretty much ...sugary foods anyway... sweet fruits and a lot of them generally the yeasts in fruit are not the same as yeasts in bread pasta etc. So it's not as bad but it depends how much you eat. If you eat enough to give yourself a glucose spike then yes avoid that. But not all fruit is bad either. Bitter melon actually can bring down sugar levels. Bitter fruits would be very good. But yeast makes fruit into wine. And so they feed on fruit. Like grapes and peaches. Sweet fruits. If they're Bitter fruits that's not so bad or if you're only eating a small amount. You can get great vitamin c from strawberries and lots of antioxidants in blueberries but pick a variety that's not sweet. Usually the organic ones aren't so sweet or heritage varieties. Things like vegetables too... potatoes peas carrots. Anything which yeast can feed on. I still ate fruit when I did the diet ..and ate sweet fruit but just a small amount. It was OK. The body can fight it off if its not getting too much food. Stopping carbs would be more a priority than stopping fruit because of the other yeasts that can eat the fruit that are not candida. Vinegar for example also has yeast but its a very different form of yeast. One way you can test a food is microwave it very hot to kill anything naturally on it. Let it cool down then spit in the cup and put a lid on it. In a day you will see the lid of cling film starts to raise up ..that means your spit has fermented the food. If you eat yoghurt eith fruit this also helps a lot. The lactobacteria fight against yeast so if you do eat fruit or sweet vegetables eat an amount of yoghurt of sugar kraut with it to counteract it.

Don't eat sugar. Do eat yoghurt all day long and saur kraut. Do take iodine. Do use a tea tree oil to brush your teeth. One drop is enough. Wash your mouth out with salt water after eating. Do take a multivitamin with vitamin d to help your immune system. Do not eat any sugar if you do need something sweet choose a fruit and eat yoghurt directly after wards and wash your mouth out with salt water. Dont use mouth wash which will kill the other bacteria that fights yeast. Should go in a few days.

Your symptoms may be consistent with IBS, especially if they vary with your menstrual cycle and improve with bowel movements. However, the presence of severe menstrual pain, vomiting, and lack of appetite suggests that it’s also important to rule out other conditions, such as endometriosis or ovarian cysts. Consulting with both a gastroenterologist and a gynecologist will help you get a clear diagnosis and a comprehensive treatment plan. Let me know if you have any further questions or need more information!
Could you make a video about advanced Candida and how it’s play into chronic Lyme? I’ve been carnivore for awhile but still puking bits of ground meat and herbs and sometimes even greens. All I eat is meat and fish, low/zero carb cheese, cream, raw cream line milk, and low carb veggies and sometimes berrys and flax/chia/hemp/psyllium seeds when I crave fiber. Lots of garlic and black cumin oil, raw oregano from my garden and ACV with pine needles I made a shrub. Im better but not good. I think the Candida and “Lyme” or vector sourced pathogens are working together and I don’t know what I’m missing maybe the subfractured castor oil or the safe anti-fungal you mentioned. Pretty desperate at this point.

The drug you're taking may not be effective against particular strains. Try natural remedies - Garlic, Oregano Oil, Neem etc. Eat boiled greens & white meat like chicken, fish. Exercise and do running which helps induce sweating and release of toxins. Also do reach out to the doc in the video on his website for a professional consultation.
Theres two types of sibo. Make sure you were checked for both. Could also be an intolerance, like gluten. Or parasites. Could also be something physical as well. I dont know if bloating and pain comes from candida die off but maybe could be the medication?

The symptoms you're experiencing-itching and abdominal discomfort-could be related to your body adjusting to the cleanse, but there's also a possibility of an allergic reaction or intolerance. It’s important to listen to your body. If the symptoms don't subside or if they worsen, stopping the cleanse and consulting with a doctor would be the safest approach.

Thanks for sharing your journey. It's real, and I've seen it many times. Well done!

Ive tried most things and candida still wont go away.
1. starving it doesnt work.
2. starving it + anti fungals doesnt work.
3. starving it + anti fungals + biofilm breakers doesnt work.
what i am trying now that seems to be promising is:
1. lower carbs but keep carbs in to feed gut microbiome (some fiber and resistance starch)
2. anti fungal nystatin to kill the yeast.
3. repopulate gut with sporebased probiotics to take over candidas place.
i will report back

You are very welcome.
Thank you, just feeling desperate for relief…:(

I suffer from candida since a year. Tried several diets already. Vegetarian, carnivore, anti-candida… Always with anti-fungals. Nothing helped… Are fermented foods ok to eat? I eat different fermented foods now.
Milkkefir from raw goatsmilk, sauerkraut, miso, natto, tempeh, Boullardii that i put in some fruit and let fermented, Yoghurt with the bacteria Gasseri, Kamboucha in moderation.
Still use anti-fungals like Oregano, garlic, Mct-oil…
I think the problem is stress-related. Hate my job. One month to go then something else. Need to change that…
So my question was… Are fermented foods ok to rebuild my gut and to push Candida more out?
Fermented foods are trick. They aren't a yes or no answer. For example, if you happen to be reactive to the food, fermenting it isn't likely to be any better. And there are different types of fermentation, bacterial and yeast. And I wouldn't recommend yeast fermentation for treating Candida. Also, it's possible that you don't have the right antifungal to treat your particular strain of Candida. And of course stress doesn't help either. Don't give up. You can figure it out!
Same. It just becomes a problem at random. Tried all the diets.
Did you resolve it?
Kefir and Saurerkraut never did anything for me but cause histamine related issues never did anything that felt like a full Detox only thing I noticed my skin got smoother but the histamine issues werent worth it and you cant just push through them, but when I started taking a multi strain Probiotic Supplement with Acidpholius and Bifido strains I experienced intense die off for almost a week with Flu like symptoms until I felt better Acidpholius is a Histamine Neutral Strain and Bifido actually is known to degrade histamine problem is lot of fermented foods have histamine raising strains, Store bought probiotic yogurts were only making the overgrowth worse too for me I
could tell cause my dandruff and skin was getting worse cause they contain too much sugar most of them have about 14 grams ! not only that they have histamine raising strains as well.

You won’t find a physician who talks natural remedies at Kaiser Permanente. There, they are literally shills for Big Pharma. They will NEVER address the root cause of your problems.
Are you saying we should avoid fresh fruits?
Thank you for helping people with this! Your helping.

What is the ideal dosage per day of diflucan for 95kg?
200 or 400 mg
I think this medicine is lil tough on the liver.
How long should one take nystatin for what strength how many units :)
A minimum of 14 days 6 ml every 6 hours that's what helped me along with the diet and exercise
I have done the sibo test.which turn out to be negative. I did blood tests endoscopy ct scan colonoscopy but nothing was found...but I have severe stomach cramps.and bloating, itchy ears and eyes, a rash and a white coat on the tongue...I asked my doctor to prescribe fluconazole 50mg daily...I had some die off reactions but my stomach cramps got worse it just won't stop...i don't know if it's part of the die off...anybody who has been going through same...please help me
The drug you're taking may not be effective against particular strains.
Quick question sir. What about candida of the skin? Is the treatment still the same?
It's mostly about using a topical antifungal agent, and using it long enough to truly get the job done.
Very informative
Thank you!
Can candida overgrowth kills people or is it just something not to panic? Thank you if you reply me back.
It's not going to kill you. Just make you miserable.
@@IBSTreatmentCenter lol oh I see
I'm on antifungals(itraconazole, terbinafine and Nystatin) I probabaly also have SIBO. My doctor recommend me to eat only 100-150g white rice and meat/egg/fish with orange juice(Bc he thinks when Blood sugar is low, candida become more aggresive) and No vegetables or probiotics. But I dont know if I really have to eat 150g rice a meal. It def gives me a huge bloating on every single meal. But also I think it's a die off?
Sounds exactly like die off to me. We'd be happy to help if you need it. This video should help. ruclips.net/video/1FpMtHpKC8A/видео.html
Hello! What fruits can we eat during the overgrowth? Could you, as a specialist in this field, advise, please? Fruits are sweet. Should we avoid all of them?
I don't recommend sweet fruits.
Blueberry's. Strawberry. Green apple. Avocado..
Do you have any experience or anecdote with grass fed colostrum supplementation for Candida ? I understand every case and client is different for dairy , but I’ve heard some benefit from things like raw milk and raw cheeses because of the higher probiotic culture content than pasteurized dairy products , and am wondering if colostrum might also be an option. I will try it out either way but just curious if you have any insight .
Thanks
God yeah lactobaccili and yeast do not mix. I ate a lot of yoghurt and saur kraut and it helped a lot.
Is licorice root food for candida? Cause the tea is so sweet 😂
LIcorice root is fine, unless there is something else in there. I know what you mean, it does have a sweetness to it, but it's not a sugar or a carb.
Thank you - will have a tea right now 😋
Dr. Wangen , thank you for sharing this important information ! My question is do have patient/s with Candida that you combine herbal and Nystatin treatment?
Yes, that's another option.
@@IBSTreatmentCenter Thank you !
Would you prefer Nystatin over Fluconazole ?
Sorely because fluconazole is hard on the liver
So how you know candida is gone?
It's mostly based on your symptoms, but testing can help too. However, it's difficult to completely eradicate Candida . But it's certainly possible to get normal digestion.
If we follow strictly vegetarian diet, can we stop Candida?
The word "vegetarian" is way too broad to know that. For example, a pure sugar or carb diet is vegetarian.
Do you know whether the supplement such as “AlliMax” (made in UK) can help eliminate Candida overgrowth in gut and the rest of body? Does the allicin in go into the bloodstream? Also is allicin and ajoene both help eliminate Candida? Hope you can help. 😊
Have you seen people with candida overgrowth from triple therapy antibiotics for h pylori? Iv been suffering with anxiety panic attacks dry skin itching skin and really random upset digestion for 2 years
Absolutely. Sounds like a lot more than H. pylori going on there.
@@IBSTreatmentCenter well I think the antibiotics causing the digestive issues have lead to the anxiety as I lost a lot of weight and became really self conscious I am back to normal weight now and have more good days than bad days but I have really random upset digestion and white tounge and a few skin issues

what levels of Nystatin are required to treat candida?
Ive had this for months taking antibacterial and antifungal. The antibacterial makes yeast worst so i dont know if its working. But symptoms have gotton so bad i feel like i can pass out from the heat flashes, headaches, and nausea its been causing . I got it from mold i found in liquid soap over a year old
It sounds like you need some professional help getting this properly sorted out and treated. We'd be happy to work with you. We work with people all over the U.S. and in many other countries.

When you say anything sweet does that mean cutting out fresh fruit ie pears apples ect out of your diet also ?
Sometimes that is necessary. It depends on a lot of variables.
I thought monkfruit amd xylitol and stevia was okay?
When it comes to managing candida overgrowth, the general goal is to avoid anything that may feed the candida fungus, particularly sugars and high-carb foods that can encourage its growth. We have hade great success in this area and would like to help you, please contact Claudio at (206) 210-6469
Xylitol is not. Pure Stevia or monkfruit actually is ok. But most Stevia products include something else.
My tongue bed is white most of the time, my nasals are dry yet clogged. Is this Candida?
Could be. It can't be diagnosed on symptoms alone.
I get a fungal rash frequently, feel bloated after I eat & have joint pain. Do you think I have candida internally as well? It seems likely to me.
It's an interesting question. Technically, no. But it can feel like it, and you can get internal symptoms from the toxins produced by Candida. We'd love to help you treat it!
Thank you so much for this super informative video! So nice of you to share your proffesional experience
Thanks for that!
Just one question: is it possible to feel “normal “ again and heal from this? This is absolutely the worse imaginable thing to go through.
It's not easy. But yes, it's possible. We help patients do this every day.
What are your symptoms?
@@IBSTreatmentCenter by normal, does this mean that we can go back to being able to eat any type of food again?
@@scvzc Everyone has a different definition of "normal". The answer to that question is patient specific.
Does candida overgrowth which started with oral thrush would later spread to genital yeast infection?
It's certainly possible.
I just started dr bo candi cleanse like a couple weeks ago. Im soooooo itchy and my lower abs starting to feel always like my cycle is coming on is that symptoms of my healing??
The symptoms you're experiencing-itching and abdominal discomfort-could be related to your body adjusting to the cleanse, but there's also a possibility of an allergic reaction or intolerance. It’s important to listen to your body. If the symptoms don't subside or if they worsen, stopping the cleanse and consulting with a doctor would be the safest approach.
Thrush is indication of candida?
Thrush is Candida in the mouth. It may or may not be a problem further down the digestive tract.
How long usually is treatment using diet + antifungals?
On average I'd say 3 months. But it can be anywhere from a month to a year or 2 if it's really bad.
damn.......@@IBSTreatmentCenter
To get rid of the rubbish flu feeling use a binder, your body is struggling to detox
Can we eat Quinoa and Buckweat? When I cut out all carbohydrates from my life, I feel very low in energy.
Possibly. That varies a lot from patient to patient.
Nystatin has been on back order for a period of time. Any alternatives
Nah. Ask a different pharmacy. I don't think that's true.
