@Corn Pop whats a Chromatic NMM Black in this context?
What about a necron warplord
Lord Inqusitor
i know its late, but did you even blend the layers when getting that shine effect, or just paint thin layers ontop one another because those transitions are smooth!
Been painting Crimson Fists for 20 years, still basecoat by hand. ...No, it has nothing to do with the fact my airbrush is broken, shut up. Brilliant video sir, keep it up.
I’ve been painting for a while now and I spend a lot of time on each mini, but watching this makes me realize that basically all I’ve learned all this time is how to apply even coats of paint and draw semi-straight lines. I didn’t realize how complacent I’ve been in terms of actually learning and improving.
I watched that glazing process on the black Templar armour the whole time not even understanding the relationship between the brush strokes and the ultimate gradient. I went and tried, and it just doesn’t happen. I don’t mean it didn’t look good, I couldn’t even make the effect happen. It’s not simply that I don’t know how to do this, it’s that I don’t even know enough to understand how to learn it. Just incredible.
I need to learn this now. I’ll never be able to look at my models the same way again!
@@GregHMacLean "welcome...to the REAL world" ;) I have some of it on the channel, but i explain every principle of my painting on my patreon videos, if you want to dig deeper. There is also a discord server for patrons, if anything is unclear.
@@trovarion yeah you got me :P curse your excellent quality paint jobs!
i would really like to see Raven Guard vanguard vet with lightning claws, would be very interested in the free hand for chapter insignia.
@Leo Nidas rip Corax
@@bluedog843 Corax isnt dead
I was mesmerised with your painting on the marine but when I saw what you did with the base I literally gasped. It's so beautiful!! I'm amazed.
“Crazy Bastard”,
I’m still laughing at that shot away when you mention painting within reasonable amt of time.
Its just funny to me and makes you more “down to earth” without trying to hard.
Even tho you out this up two years ago, I just came across it.
BTW, incredible work.
Imagine having an entire army that looks like this.
i could only dream.
Imagine using decades of your life
The Orks would die of envy for such flashy bits
My Emperor, the longer I watch the more impressive it gets. What an incredible technique. I know now how to move forward. I want to join for sure now.
Days later I still cant stop thinking about this. Absolutely amazing technique. The model becomes a jewel when he is done with it.
Beautiful work.
great material, awesome thing to put on the shelves!
Just watched this again, and I am still blown away by it. Makes me want to get back to painting my crimson fists! Backlog approaching critical mass!
Nice! The world needs more crimson fist!
Kharn the Betrayer has always been one of my favorite mini's, it would be cool to see you paint him next
Amazing highlighting. Nice job, well done !
stellar job! thank you!
Gorgeous painting! 🤯🤯🙌🙌
I'm definitely trying the NMM glaze/highlight trick! Looks gorgeous!
insane dude, so clean and blendy
Beautiful work bud, such incredible attention to detail.
I think an Age of Sigmar Battlemage would be really cool to paint. It would give you the opportunity to show off osl, nmm, skintones, and cloth texture. Amazing tutorial, by the way!
Looks awesome!
Besides a necron though, I cant wait to see how you do a Blood Angel! My favorite space marine chapter!
Totally love your work
Really enjoyed watching this model being painted. I don’t have a air brush so loved the brush layering how to element.
As for a model to paint next perhaps a non space marine fantasy model. Keep up the good work.
This model finish looks absolutely amazing. I am at a loss for words. Some things just cant be done with an airbrush. Ha, paintbrush licker!!! 13:22 only the true artists are brush lickers, lol, you rock.
That base blew my mind! You're a colour wizard ;)
Amazing
thats so sick!
My favorite base ever 🤘
Sickest miniature i have ever seen.
Amazing. Learned a lot.
May I just say a big thank you for your videos shhhh I am 60 and due to health reasons I don’t get out much and have just started painting again after 30 + years don’t have a lot of gear yet but getting there anyway thanks again for the fantastic video’s plz keep up the brilliant work you do
I realy like your work, excelent! 👌🏼Thks for your videos.
Also totally inspired by this thank you.
We have almost the exact same Tapestry. Maybe the same lol. Love you brother.
Just beginning to get into miniature painting and finding your videos incredible with how you use the paint to create that look
Awesome, thank you!
As always an informative video detailing the steps you took to create another fantastic paint job.
I'd love too see you do a Dark Angels Hell Blaster or Captain
This man has painted a rock to a higher standard than I've ever painted a miniature. I am just not on the right track in life.
Also my suggestion is; anything that isn't a Space Marine of some description.
:D
Yeah, no SM next probably :)
Wow thank you for sharing your gift. I've recently become drawn back to Warhammer and your talent has definitely inspired me.
Would love to see a yellow/gold Marine demo. Keep up the good work.

Subbed! Great video man!!!!awesome skills
I would love to see a video on Adeptus custodes in NMM stile, I'm sure it would be great :)
Oh my lord are these tutorials great...👌🏻👌🏻 one talented painted my man. 👍🏻👍🏻
much appreciated!

As I just finished my Crimson Fist Redemptor Dreadnought, the giant walking sarcophagus of death gets my vote. There aren't many videos on painting the bigger models out there, and I would like to see how you approach the larger canvas. Obviously not Crimson Fists again, I say any non-blue chapter.
Great work. Love it! I'd like to see a Salamanders Marine :)
High Marshal Helbrecht ;) all the gold hahaha
As usual quality videos :)
Darkoath Warqueen! Be interesting to see the approach for a model with a mix of skin, metal, bone and cloth/leather tones in a limited timeframe.
you are so calm and careless at the same time when painting those pouches aha jut flicking the brush all over the place yet you know exactly where it is and don't get any on the armour
I just found your channel, but the long watch time is totally worth it. Thanks for putting the video out.
Any chance for an 'Eavier than Metal video with T'au units? I'd love to see what you could do with some stealth suits, or maybe a ghostkeel if you were feeling particularly ambitious.
Great guide as always. It would be cool if you did something from the Space Wolves chapter
Blood Angels (Special Units like Death Company, Sanguinary Guard, Sanguinary Priets, etc. Would be fine).
I have more respect for you for not using an airbrush as good as they are that extra effort by hand I definitely noticed
Great intro dude
An Iron Warriors Warsmith! Love to see your take on striped patterns, weathered armor and generally mean chaotic metal!
working on some chaos right now with that striping pattern, but not for the eavier than metal series unfortunately.
@Leo Nidas sure, but i like to keep it diverse :D and paint different things a lot.
That is fucking amazing.
Would love to see the witch hunter model from GW done up using nmm for the armor and sword also doing a nice color scheme for the closing and coat and would love to see an aged wood effect on the black powder pistols.
This is a long shot, but if you did a nmm red necron, since that is what my army's color scheme is, I'd be forever in your debt! Awesome video, cant wait to see the next! ❤❤❤
Oh yeah, the xenos do need some love
@Leo Nidas no, Targaryen for sure. Even if I was, I'd be Tyrion
I'd be curious to see anything from Nighthaunt, but not done using GW's ghostly green or blue effect paint. I don't mind what colour it is, I'd just love to see one of those ghosty things done up well.
great work dude. I was in the credits too! Pog.
POGGERS
NMM Custodes or necron would be awesome!
I would have loved to see you free hand the crimson fists marking but still this miniature looks amazing
Camouflaged imperial guard, would love to see you paint something with some kinda of camouflage and using the techniques to get some interesting colour changes through the mini on the clothing and then that contrasted with the armour pieces painted the way you do your spacemarines, it may look like trash, but I would love to see it experimented. The model could be anything really, but the contrast between the style of painting you use here and a camouflaged pattern would be interesting to see.
Wow!
Sisters of battle would be a good next model when the new ones come out.
Since theres 3 40K vids, I vote for an AoS video next. Crypt Horror with the greenish skin tone they have on GW as an example, would be cool to see :)
I would like to see how you paint one of latest Warhammer 40k Grey knights. See how you would paint the metal armor as well as the gold details and scrips.
nice
Hi there superb painting , imperial fists would be nice or dark angels or mmmmm any ! , well done , such an inspiration for our hobby !
thanks a lot for your comment! Imperial Fist Video, this way: ruclips.net/video/2ikp4fckoXk/видео.html
Well done Trovarion. Your squig was great. Maybe a larger form Orc to really have some fun with color and freehand?
thanks! there'll be more videos for the squig as soon as i get to editign them :)
Hi-Tech Miniatures Space Viking would be awesome
Would love to see an Exorcist marine they are super uncommon, love the videos, I’ve learned a lot from watching you thank you
thank you!
I'd like to see you paint me, daddy
@Leo Nidas Luca, is that you?! Pog
like one of my french girls?
@@trovarion Yes! Just finished the video, lovely result, Trov!
@Leo Nidas ahhh it's YOU!
@@Miniac much obliged!
the new keeper of secrets would be awsome
I must say I really love how you painted this! Now with the 9th edition at the door steps and Indomitus box almost here, I'm thinking of picking up the hobby again. Is there a chance to see this painted as an Dark angel please? I'm going to use contrast paint as my foundation but I really want to spend some extra time and get around to paint as you'we done it. Having a video to follow with the correct colors would do wonders! Cheers!
No me canso de repetirlo, eres el mejor.
gracias ;)
Trovarion Muchisimas, muchisimas gracias por poner tu talento al alcance de todos.
Might be interesting to see some of the more exotic blood angels specialist units, say the sanguinary guard or the librarian with the muscle armour... or dante with the gold armour :)
i would love to see your take on a Primaris Lamenter :D
ruclips.net/video/2ikp4fckoXk/видео.html here is my take on yellow space marines!
Hello! Great video, thanks! I think, it be good to paint some from AoS, maybe goblins, squigs or stormcast eternals )
I'd love an Adeptus Custodes, maybe in the Solar Watch paint scheme. Or a Skiitari. thanks!
id like to see how you would paint a really glossy black, like latex or a insecoid carapace, like a tyranid!
Space wolves!! Come on!
I'd like to see a gsc character, preferably the jackal alphus because those bikes are so cool looking.
I'd be cool to see how you would do skin and tattoos on Iron Hand Straken or some other Catachan guy
awesome
I'd love to see a metallic colored space marine. Something like the executioners would be perfect
id love to see you take on a TAG from infinity
Tyranids would be cool. But like a green tyranid, the venom hive fleet or something like that?
Could you paint a 40K Leviathan Set for the 40K 10th Edition in the future? 😂❤. Your work is amazing....my man....🤘
I am more than 1 year late but it's my brithday soon and I'd love to see you paint "Veronique" miniature from Limbo : Eternal War. Cheers!!!
I'm surprised you didn't shade it all with a brown glaze :D (I am a fan of your old work, and I love that brown looking style you used to have. it's great for Nurgle)
I know its a year old, but I'd love to see lemartes painted like this
I would love to see a Eavier than Metal Ultramarine I realise thats going to be an unpopular pick but one can hope I do like Ultramarines.
also this is obviously old now, but I'd like to see you paint a squigg hopper, or something else from gloomspite gits. I always loved night gobbos, and I am hoping to start an army one day. squiggs are awesome too.
Hm, might be the wrong idea to suggest but I would be really interested in how you would approach a squad format (Underworlds band, for example) with your experience, using the similar criteria of "20h or less, highest possible standard". I think a lot of people paint that way, rather than focusing on a single figure at a time. For me personally it's rather difficult to diverge from that "single figure" mentality while painting squads, when maybe it's more important to focus on the unit as a whole (i.e. minor mistakes and "ignorances" become less significant) - hence the reason I'm curious to see how you'd tackle the problem.
Hopefully my explaining made some sence xD
I would love to see a darker Word Bearer
Raven guard. Black armour maybe a captain with a cape or something. Edit - Looking at the other videos this has been covered!
Theren Williams so pretty much the black armoured captain with a cape he did last time?
Would it be possible for a full paint list used in the video?
Crimson Fists are the PSG space marines!
Love that video, it's really great! Thank you!
I know im late... but i would love to see good paint job on one of those new Dark Angels from Forge World... I dont even like space marines... but i must say those ones are just crazy good looking...
thanks! could you please link these dark angels?
There's those ones who looks stunning

Or the praetor for a single figurine:
www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-FR/Dark-Angels-Legion-Terminator-Praetor-2019
And also these bodyguards just announced, i dont know when they will release. Also pretty amazing. I also think they are all pretty good kitbash material.

@@trovarion and thanks for replying on an older video. It's awesome!
@@y-adouradou446 oh yeah, they look pretty cool!
@@trovarion yeh, i was really surprised... needs a lot to makes me like some space marine haha
Thousand sons? You pick any model I just wanna see you get to work on that blue and gold
I'd love to see something wildly different, a Dark Eldar painted up with a sort of high contrast synthwave style that will put my speed painted tourny army to shame.
Crimson slaughter!
