@@dubzer0649 At the time each of Barry's brothers passed away , he was not on speaking terms with them for one reason or another. In an interview he said that he if he could he would take away all the fame and money just to have his brothers with him again.
This is a lip-synched video of the studio version - Andy was not on the recording. But they wanted to introduce him because he was about to come out with his first album!
@@MM-rd4wm This was recorded in 1976. Andy's first album came out in September 1977. And this was not an actual 'live" concert. But yes it' was great to see them all together :)
Amazing! Barry and Robin sound like one voice. The four brothers on stage together is priceless. Barry, the last man standing, said he’d give it all away, no singing career at all if he could have his brothers back. Even though he misses them terribly, he’s still performing! I found this info out from watching their documentary.
Barry and Robin's voices always blended so well together, though they were so different when singing separate leads (eg Massachussetts, I Just Gotta Get a Message to You and For Whom the Bell Tolls) and Maurice's voice was so underrated as he only took the lead on a few songs but his slightly lower register was such a great balance in the mix. Barry and Andy's facial resemblance though is spooky. Andy was shorter than Barry, like the twins were too, but I remember their mother saying that when Andy was born, "It was like having had the same baby again" and that they even had the same birthmarks.
A rare and beautiful sight and sound of little brother, Andy Gibb, performing with his elder brothers, the Bee Gees (eldest brother Barry, the lead vocalist on this and on most of their tracks, and twins Robin, with the long red hair, and Maurice, with the "less" hair :) !!).

This song was a #1 US hit in September 1976, becoming one of the biggest disco hits of the era. When the movie hit theaters in December 1977, the song was used in a famous scene from the movie where John Travolta takes over the dance floor - an appropriate choice since the song is specifically about dancing. John Travolta prepared for the movie by practicing his dance moves to this song. When he was told by the producers that "Night Fever" would be used for the sequence for which he was practicing, Travolta insisted that "You Should Be Dancing" be used instead.

When Travolta was coming out of Welcome Back Kotter show as Vinnie Barbarino. And let’s not forget Grease with Olivia Newton John. He had the moves when he was a young stud definitely.
You need to look up the movie Saturday night fever The Bee gees featured all the songs to that movie that was during the Disco era John Travolta was one of the main characters in it he actually took dance lessons so he could play that part of course great movie
The Bee Gees were in Paris recording this Album, they already had most of the songs done. Their manager got in touch with them ,and told them he needed some songs for this movie. So the Bee Gees sent the songs they already had recorded. What's amazing is that had songs, and didn't know about the movie. That means that John Travolta was practicing dancing to other artists. The Bee Gees saw the movie later after they had this album recorded. They had no movie in mind. Didn't even know about it. Saturday Night Fever. My all time favorite movie, and favorite Album. The Bee Gees were, and will always be the greatest
First time I’ve come across your channel and like someone else said I had to subscribe. One of my all time favourite musicians. Disco or not their songs are awesome. Great reaction 😎
The video did not actually portray their actual live performance. I was at that concert sitting in the 3rd row from the stage. Their performance was so much more electrifying!!! There is a You Tube video of their actual live performance. You should definitely react to it!
This would be the movie Saturday Night Fever the movie and song that slung Jon Travolta on the map and super stardom. The BeeGees little brother Andy Gibb sang on this song but was a star himself as a solo career. Sadly the two brother not the lead singer have passed RIP and Andy passed back back in the 80's from a drug overdose which the 3 older brothers never got over. I was a professional dancer as a kid back in the 70's and would win dance club dance off's to this song same dance as your watching in clubs that looked just like this. There will never be an Era like this again nothing but love amd true hearts! Great react guys 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Bee gees are amazing love them
That's John Travolta on the dance floor doing all the moves. It was from Saturday Night Fever movie.
That’s cool didn’t know that
Bet you didn’t know John Travolta was such a good dancer huh?
Nope didn’t know that, I didn’t even know that was him until someone in the comments told me
@@dubzer0649 From the movie Saturday Night Fever...Height of the disco craze.
Glad Your hear I appreciate it thanks for watching
The video did not actually portray their actual live performance. I was at that concert sitting in the 3rd row from the stage. Their performance was so much more electrifying!!! There is a You Tube video of their actual live performance. You should definitely react to it!
Oh ok I’ll have to find that video
This song was so friggen good.
Great song. Love to see all the brothers on stage and the clips from Saturday night fever
If you want to go to the royalty on disco , do Donna Summer’s and Barbara Steimstrand no more tears ( enough is enough) this duet is to disco queens battle back in the days a hit in the disco club.
Ok thanks for suggesting I appreciate it
