  • It is time to make this amazing Viking knife sheath! The Puukko knife is a classic finnish knife with ties all the way back to the viking knife. In part 4 of the puukko knife build series we are going to construct a wooden scabbard with a leather cuff lined with fur. I will be utilizing a piece of AAA+ spalted maple for the wood scabbard and veg tanned leather for the upper. The upper will be lined with calf hair and the wooden scabbard will be lined with pig skin! I had a blast making this puukko knife and viking knife sheath! All together making the viking knife, the puukko sheath and all 4 videos this project took a week from start to finish. If you have questions please feel free to ask in the comments below!
