i remember when i watched old videos bout fnaf rollercoasters, and then decided to make some and it went crappy as hell, through i still had fun doing it, lol.
I met a 13 year old who wanted me to playtedt his horror game he made in Minecraft.. AND THAT SH!T WAS LEGIT AMAZING. It was like fnaf 4 except theres like 3 monsters. The first two go to the windows and you have to like close them, the third one appears in your room and you have to turn a lamp on. There was also a power feature you had to use to make sure the lamp and lights work. They also made different difficulty's, a version where YOU CONTROL the monsters, and so much more. I loved that damn game. I accidentally got outside the map once and holy hell.. THE AMOUNTS OF COMMAND BLOCKS... He said it took him and his friend almost a year to make it. That kid was amazing.
Cool horror map idea. It starts off pretty cheaply made, like an 8 year old built it. But, once you make it to the first check point, the real terrifying experience begins.

.... I got major goosebumps from this video. The first "horror" map is identical to the map I made when I was 6, in 2015-ish. What the hell? Why is it here in this video in 2024? The world was made in 2015. Where did you find it???
I have a vivid memory of why I made that world. I was 6 when I saw a video from popularmmos, playing a horror game with a jumpscare where a piston pushed an armor stand with a herobrine head that scared them. I wanted to recreate the jumpscare in minecraft, but knew jack shit about redstone. The cracked stone bricks were supposed to give the building a "spooky atmosphere". Anyways, the world was never supposed to be published, the redstone was never complete, it was completely broken, and I made other worlds quickly afterwards, so how do you have access to it?
I remember when I was probably about 11 or 12, I wanted to make a horror map where you find yourself in this large prison, which is built kinda like a labyrinth. As you explore you find more clues on how to escape, lore about the player character, etc. Later on you make the discovery that the prison itself is actually *alive* and that was supposed to up the horror factor and difficulty. Then you end up having to fight the living prison in the end. It sounded epic at the time, but if i revisit it now im probably gonna cringe lmao

So a bit off topic but I decided to make an idea for a map: Scientist are making the ultimate lifeform by fusing a skeleton, zombie, and creeper. Using the power of THE NETHER STAR!!!! The experiment was successful, but they weren't able to control the beast, leading the beast to wreak havoc on the city. Seeing this thumbnail reminded me of an time where I played Minecraft on Xbox 360 and out of boredom I would make giant statues of cartoon character and other stuff, but this thumbnail actually reminded me of an creeper statue that I build full of tnt and then just exploded everything because I thought "that's what creepers does right?". Those were good times...
Now to be fair these kids were us back in the day when we used to make random stuff in Minecraft. hell i remember playing on my xbox 360 and making a paint ball stadium with only wool and adding two double doors because it was fance at the time for me :3

I think it is some sort of repressed shame manifesting, if you want my personal opinion. People get picked on for having unconventional interests as kids, then when they get older they never get over it. So now they do the same thing to kids online. Doesn't make it better; adults singling out children to laugh at is still really bizarre.

I met a 13 year old who wanted me to playtedt his horror game he made in Minecraft.. AND THAT SH!T WAS LEGIT AMAZING. It was like fnaf 4 except theres like 3 monsters. The first two go to the windows and you have to like close them, the third one appears in your room and you have to turn a lamp on. There was also a power feature you had to use to make sure the lamp and lights work. They also made different difficulty's, a version where YOU CONTROL the monsters, and so much more. I loved that damn game. I accidentally got outside the map once and holy hell.. THE AMOUNTS OF COMMAND BLOCKS... He said it took him and his friend almost a year to make it. That kid was amazing.

I was 6 when I saw a video from popularmmos, playing a horror game with a jumpscare where a piston pushed an armor stand with a herobrine head that scared them.
I wanted to recreate the jumpscare in minecraft, but knew jack shit about redstone.
The cracked stone bricks were supposed to give the building a "spooky atmosphere".
Anyways, the world was never supposed to be published, the redstone was never complete, it was completely broken, and I made other worlds quickly afterwards, so how do you have access to it?

I remember when I was probably about 11 or 12, I wanted to make a horror map where you find yourself in this large prison, which is built kinda like a labyrinth. As you explore you find more clues on how to escape, lore about the player character, etc. Later on you make the discovery that the prison itself is actually *alive* and that was supposed to up the horror factor and difficulty. Then you end up having to fight the living prison in the end. It sounded epic at the time, but if i revisit it now im probably gonna cringe lmao

I think it is some sort of repressed shame manifesting, if you want my personal opinion. People get picked on for having unconventional interests as kids, then when they get older they never get over it. So now they do the same thing to kids online.
