A remaster uses the same code/assets to improve on the resolution output, antialiasing and technical stufff. Sometimes there're some changes in textures, little details in the models and so on. For example: Shadow of the Colossus HD or Killzone 1 HD. Or more recently Dark Souls Remastered. A remake is basically remaking the whole game even if is faithfull in how the events and levels work but with new code, new assets, engine etc. For example: Resident Evil (REmake), Interesting cases: - Shadow of the Colossus Remake is mostly a remake but uses the same base code from what I read but the whole world was completely rebuilt and the code mechanics and physics a bit polished. - Yakuza Kiwami respects the original Yakuza even matching takes on the cutscenes but it can be considered a remake.

What’s the difference between a Remake and a Remaster aniway ?

@@MarcelusCastleRain also id like to point out that Ratchet and Clank was an absolute remake as Dr Nefarious was never on the first lol
