Uh, I've had Raycons for like 3 years thanks to Daniel's sponsors and can honestly not understand the rant on them. They're not bad at all, they are pretty good at least, and I really have never literally met or even seen anyone who disliked them before this, so uh... YEAH I don't know what else to say about that
it's mainly people who are into music and sound that have a problem with them because of the heavy bass and not so great range. To the average person who doesn't have experience within the world of audio they may be alright, but to many "audiophiles" they're not good. They're also too expensive for the quality (or lack thereof) it provides to the consumer
@@z-axis4508 They have the same problem Beats have. The sound quality isn’t completely awful, but for the price they’re awful. At least with Raycons they’re relatively cheap to begin with. They’re overpriced, but at least in a realistic range for those who don’t want to spend $400+ on headphones.
@@theradiantdehd3997 yeah I'm subscribed to dankpods and in his video on raycons he recommended this pair of wireless earbuds which were supposedly better than raycons and half the price. I used the pair he recommended and they were absolutely amazing

I accidentally on purpose did the same for GCSE music. I used the lullaby of time from the legend of Zelda( with a few minor adjustments) from the n64 game and even went around the room super quick asking the others to please not rat me out. In my defence I chose art but put music as a second choice not thinking I'd get music😅

Yeah I only use Skullcandy. They’re amazing and way cheaper than the big brand name products which aren’t worth the money when it sounds no better than Skullcandy. They’re also the only ones that truly fit my weirdly shaped ears. Most buds just fall out of my ears.
Gilligan's Island and Pokemon seem to have a common thread. LoL
As a huge Pokémon and Mortal Kombat fan this is awesome and if Raycons are bad why are they still getting ad time? I would think they'd be shut down fast if they weren't selling so good.
Marketing. And the fact that 7 out of 10 users have no discernment for good sound. They hear heavy bass and sharp highs playing really loudly and go "sounds great!"
Going beyond the sound debate, there are TONS of wireless buds that offer the same or higher quality for half the cost and less. Raycons have it in their name: con. It's a brand that preys on ignorance and there is literally not one person respected in audio engineering that vouches for them. Not to mention, objective scales for sound frequencies exist that prove Raycons are garbage.
tl;dr they sell because of aggressive/personal marketing and consumer ignorance.

Raycons are great though, I've tried other earbuds, none of them sound that good. Although, it could also just be that raycons are very compatible with my EQ.
It's more that you don't have an ear for sound. Raycons crank highs and lows. Basically, they sound "good" when cranked super high if the listener has 0 comprehension of sound staging etc. Which, is fine, actually. Because there is no need to train ones ear if you like what you hear. Problem with Raycon is you can get that same low and high frequency manipulation from other earbuds for less than half the cost. You just have to know which ones to buy.
At the end of the day, Raycons sound terrible (from an objective perspective when measuring potential frequency ranges they can produce), HOWEVER, if that sound appeals to you, there are far less expensive options that make more sense.
@@WeStreem I studied as a sound designer and got good marks, I got an equivalent of B+ in sound design, i think i know what sounds good or not. Thing is, they work really well with my set up on my phone compared to others, I use a OnePlus 6, and it works wonderfully for my ears that keep overflowing with earwax. I have to clean my ears once every 2 days or i break earbuds, but with raycon I have forgotten to clean my ears properly several times and I've only needed to clean the buds, and they don't break. The sound is good, they're durable, and others break after one time of forgetting to clean my ears. Raycon is good wether you like it or not, sure, they're a bit overpriced, but with sales + discount codes from RUclipsrs it gets pretty low. When I bought my current set, I got them for 60% of the original price.
I’ve spoken with 0 audio professionals who say anything but Raycons are terrible. Again, they are terrible objectively when it comes to sound. You’re either flat out lying or your school failed you.
So far as the earwax thing, you’d be better off with over ears if you have that severe of an issue. And still, there are dozens of earbuds with similar (and the same) fit as Raycons. Especially since Raycons are not custom made by that company. They are reskinned earbuds you can buy without the branding from Ali Express for less than $10.

They're better than that, and they don't even look anything close to that AliExpress crap, the case is wrong and the outside of the buds are wrong, take a proper look. And you just sound like a vindictive douche because you didn't get a sponsorship. And as for over-ears, it isn't that comfortable to wear in bed.

I think you forgot to add anything original to the video, but hey at least you named a few songs and laughed out loud here and there. Content, right? This just falls into the same category as every other shitty reaction video.
I'm sorry, but there's a huge difference between just sitting in your chair, saying a few words, chuckling once or twice and actually adding something unique and original to the video you are watching. Be it educational or funny or sad or just something else than every other reaction channel out there. Sad to see "musician reacts" used so often as clickbait.
I think that everyone that clicked this video finds Daniel amusing, but what does that say about you? This video doesn't make me want to explore your content at all. If youtube would be at all serious about plagiarism, this would surely not be on the safe side.

He is one of the more unique reactors out there, go check out his main channel for some of the more "original" reaction videos, if anything most of his fans complain he pauses too much. These kinds of videos don't exactly offer a lot of room for breakdown analysis.
