The reignited trilogys were created by the kids who loved Spyro in the 1990s, that is why its so remarkable, the developers are exactly like me, someone who remembers the soundtrack by heart, feels emotional chills when hearing the jingle from the twinkling gems.
As an original Spyro 1 speedrunner I have to say I loved the reignited version but there is a subtle sense of nostalgia that comes with the original PS1 version you can't remake.

I will always have a special place in my heart for the original version. That was my favorite game growing up. While the new one is so cool and has such great graphics I still like the original for nostalgias sake but I'm so excited to get this for Christmas and play it!
I remember playing Spyro 2 and 3 in the original trilogy and it was fun. After playing the reignited trilogy, I had a great time and really felt the nostalgia.
Spyro was my first console game ever, I got a ps1 and first Spyro game on my 8th Christmas , I sobbed like a baby when I loaded up reignited for the first time
I still play the old one today while playing the new one. Being a 90’s kid, I’m glad I grew up in that decade to enjoy all these games. I hope they remake crash team racing and I can’t wait for medievil to be remade
I remember playing Spyro back in 2000 and was pumped because I gained access to the special portal that you can only get into after gaining every gem, etc. from every level.. so much nostalgia with this game!
Anyone who says that lost their inner child and thats really sad. Im 27 I played this in 98' when I was 7, I preordered this as soon as they had it up for preorder. Theres nothing wrong with indulging your inner child once in a while.
The original Spyro games will forever be favourite games of all time! They are my childhood and everything I like about video games. I just finished playing the reignited trilogy. It was beautiful.
This actually makes me emotional!!! I remember playing this game when I was little 😭❤️ I’m so grateful that my parents raised me as a 90’s kid when I’m a 00’s kid irl
To me, the remastered and the old version of Spyro are excellent to me. I can't deny the remastered version is actually beautiful looking. But that being said it doesn't really matter between the old and the new as I would love them both. Now it is funny the person said the older games don't give you that much instructions. In the Spyro game, they do. Plus there's an instruction booklet XD. Now if they think that this game isn't hard, then they haven't reached later on as this game requires you to use your brain. But when you think about it, the new games in this era, everybody complains about too much instructions the game says in the game itself so which is it that they want?
Well, at least for spyro, you really dont need mutch. Collect dragons, collect gems and the eggs and beat Gnasty. Thats basically it for all 3 games. And if a person dont get that after the first overworld and first sub level...yeah sorry.
I was asking for Spyro remaster since early PS3 and the only difference is the aesthetics..... it’s amazing just how identical they got it. And yes the game gets harder tho tbf the first one is very easy.
I played all 3 spyros on the PS1, not simultaneously but I borrowed them from the video store and eventually bought Year of the dragon. I was quite obsessed with Spyro back in the early 00s
I'm sorry, is the kid saying "This game takes no skill" the same one who just a minute earlier said "The game doesn't tell you what to do, so I'm just here spinning in circles". And then didn't complete the level in the reignited trilogy.
I have that on my PS3. Well technically I bought Sly 2, Sly 3 & Sly 4 separately. The 1st 2nd & 3rd games were really just HD updates for them and not a complete engine update that Spyro & Crash got. Plus I think the graphics still hold up well for the first 3.
Both Original and Reignited Spyro's are AWESOME no doubts. Still wished Spyro's free flight ability was added as n the New Rewarding Features in Reignited So now I Continue To Hope Spyro keeps His free flight ability in His New Spyro Games to Come I Love Spyro Reignited Trilogy as much as each Fan But I've also waited for Spyro to Finally Fly Freely without Limitations Anytime Any Level Possibly in Spyro's New Games to come 💜🔥❄️✈️🙏⭐️🔮

OMG my favorite video game series of all time. Loved watching them play the old and new!
same
>gavin is best dragon
I see you're a man of culture.
Gavin is so hot
Jeson Luigi Catedral Indeed I am😌 -Dionte
I will always have a special place in my heart for the original version. That was my favorite game growing up. While the new one is so cool and has such great graphics I still like the original for nostalgias sake but I'm so excited to get this for Christmas and play it!
i like the older graphics. the newer graphis remind me of like rs andother games its too bright
I remember playing Spyro 2 and 3 in the original trilogy and it was fun. After playing the reignited trilogy, I had a great time and really felt the nostalgia.
I loved this game so much back in the days, I played it for so long. Im stoked they remade it, the graphics are beautiful.
Righteous.✊😌
Your prayers have been answered! CTR is being remade
mUh 90s kId
I love Dionte so much everything he says is metaphorically like actual GOLD
He is so fun! - JC, FBE Team
Awwwww, thank you 😊😊! -Dionte
I remember playing Spyro back in 2000 and was pumped because I gained access to the special portal that you can only get into after gaining every gem, etc. from every level.. so much nostalgia with this game!
the last map you are talking about is gnasty's loot
VIPA Yea, that’s the one! Good times. 👍🏼
@@Austin_Patrick indeed
People : Spyro are for kids
Me : Can’t relate
Anyone who says that lost their inner child and thats really sad. Im 27 I played this in 98' when I was 7, I preordered this as soon as they had it up for preorder. Theres nothing wrong with indulging your inner child once in a while.
There are no adults, just children who have grown older.
Rejecting your inner child is to reject what you've grown up as, making you kind of boring.
Shannoncotto91
Agreed
Yes Yes YES!! This made my afternoon!!
Thanks for watching! Have you played the game? -JC, FBE Team
@@PeopleVsFood No i haven't played the new one. But i remember seeing and playing the old version with my cuz before.
It's Great to see Spyro again!
“He sounds like a sick nerd.” 😂👌
I dropped everything to come watch this😂
Thanks for supporting the show! -JC, FBE Team
"Omg he can fly! I don't remember that!!"
He's a dragon....
Today's gamers, hold my hand plz lol ^^
The original Spyro games will forever be favourite games of all time! They are my childhood and everything I like about video games. I just finished playing the reignited trilogy. It was beautiful.
I don't think I've clicked a video this fast in a long time. I LOVE SPYRO
I loved the skateboarding part. It was awesome playing it as a kid
The ps trilogy holds up nicely. It's on par with Mario 64 imo as far as you could play the original today and have fun
CrowT23 i completely agree
This actually makes me emotional!!! I remember playing this game when I was little 😭❤️ I’m so grateful that my parents raised me as a 90’s kid when I’m a 00’s kid irl
I love SPYRO! both the original and the new. But i do prefer his newer voice in Ripto's rage and in the new remastered edition with gorgeous visuals.
Guys! A Let's Play of the Reignited Trilogy would MAKE MY LIFE!
Aww that love on Dionte’s face
Get them to finish spyro instead of playing fortnite
Yeah, a full Spyro play through would be awesome
39 gems 💀💀
And yes the game gets harder tho tbf the first one is very easy.
what a blast from the past just watching the dragons turn back from stone hit me hard
quite literally😂
Now we're talking! I love vids like this. The nostalgia is intense.
I really hope that I can play the new game as well one day
I played all 3 spyros on the PS1, not simultaneously but I borrowed them from the video store and eventually bought Year of the dragon. I was quite obsessed with Spyro back in the early 00s
There was a Spyro game that I played on the PS2. I got kinda far in it I think, but I never beat it. I sold that game too. I really liked that game.
I am so, so excited to finally play the game myself! I'm glad that other people have been enjoying it as well.
No one going to comment about how Spyro is the only dragon who is scale naked in this game?
He's not.
All of these people forgot to charge to save time. Spyro can run faster than that guys 😂😂
Do these guys realize that New Spyro is voiced by SpongeBob?
Spyro has been voiced by Tom Kenny since the original 2 and 3
@@HazyGrove Exactly the reason why I always said that Spyro 1 is the only real Spyro game.
I'm sorry, is the kid saying "This game takes no skill" the same one who just a minute earlier said "The game doesn't tell you what to do, so I'm just here spinning in circles". And then didn't complete the level in the reignited trilogy.
Does anyone else think they should remaster the sly cooper games or is that just me?
I need one new Sly Cooper game
They did a Sly trilogy remaster on the PS3.
This brought back so much nostalgia 😭😂 I love spyro 💜
SAME! This game looks so much better! -JC, FBE Team
Both Original and Reignited Spyro's are AWESOME no doubts. Still wished Spyro's free flight ability was added as n the New Rewarding Features in Reignited
So now I Continue To Hope Spyro keeps His free flight ability in His New Spyro Games to Come
I Love Spyro Reignited Trilogy as much as each Fan
But I've also waited for Spyro to Finally Fly Freely without Limitations Anytime Any Level
Possibly in Spyro's New Games to come
💜🔥❄️✈️🙏⭐️🔮
OMG, I'm so happy that you did a react video on spyro. I absolutely love Spyro, and I can't wait to play the reignited version. I still play the original Year Of The Dragon.
Yes you need to get your hands on the new one! It is so pretty! - JC, FBE Team
WE FOUND GAVIN BOISSSS
Rdr2 reference? 😂😂
I cried playing this. So many memories
Fun fact the person who voiced Spyro is the same person who voiced spongebob
Tom Kenny?
@@drunozeko4332 Yep
Not in Spyro 1 though. It was a guy called Carlos 'something or other'
Insomniac didn't develop the new one, but they sure managed to imitate it perfectly.
