his song choice was really good here. he chose something that gave him a ton of opportunities to show off his acting choices, to make everyone laugh, and to show off his huge vocal range. I think more people should try to lean into the comedic songs, it makes you stand out when everyone else is doing drama
I had the great good fortune to see him in DEH in January 2020...I was front row, center, and let me tell you, this kid DESTROYED me...ridiculously talented!🥰
Such a fantastic performance, he has a fantastic voice but will sometime will sacrifice tone for acting, which is totally what all the greats do! he knows later on he can show of his beautiful tone, a lot of young actors just want to sound amazing all the time, and lose the truth when performing musical theatre. Perfection in the imperfections! Congratulations a very well deserved winner.
