The best forward we've had in 30 years IMO, a complete striker, two footed, good in the air, dribbled with skill, had pace and strength.. He also went on to prove himself at the highest level!!
I'm not a Villa supporter, but I've always thought Dwight was the complete forward player. Technically, he's as good as anyone. I remember when he moved to Man Utd and my school friends questioning whether he was good enough. I knew he was, but I didn't think he would get the amount of goals as he did. Even Sir Alex said at one point Dwight was the best forward in Europe.
I was there at Villa Park for the last game of the old Holte End as a young kid. We went 1-0 down and Yorkie came on after half time and bagged 2 for us and won the game! Great memories. Yorkie was a legend for us! Thank you!
Killed his legendary status when he celebrated against us for manu after abandoning us! Made it worse when he went over to the scum, and makes it worse every time he tries to get the managers job. The first footballer to break my heart as a kid
Give him a break mate! Bit harsh 😂🤣 He was my idol as a kid and for that I will always respect him. I was 13 when he left and I cried like a baby!! I remember reading on teletext that he had gone to Man U and I started blarting!! Me mom had to give us a hug to calm me down!!!
@@bluemarvelous We've always been a feeder team during my life time. That's why I think Nasa and Wes deserve all the credit in the world for hanging on to Jack. I think Jacks Villa future depends on us playing European football to be honest. I feel like Jacks done enough to leave with my blessing and I agree about Downing and Milner! The thing about Delph is there will be a time when he becomes a pundit / commentator which is when I'm going to have to Boycott / Find alternate broadcast or mute games. None of which are things that i should have to do
@@poeticmic6219The way Delph's departure went down was embarrassing.. Everything about it confirmed our relegation in hindsight.. I blame the club for letting it happen in the first place tbh.. If we miss out on Europe, we'll have to make a marquee signing to keep Grealish IMO.. A player on his level or above, otherwise he'll be sold in the summer 2022!!
Lloyd Lindburgh " Lindy " Delapenah , In 1948 play for Postmouth untill the fifties and later other teams, John Barnes came to England with his family as a 14 year old , play for Manchester City and England all from the Caribbean
Will always be my favourite player. Had his own level, he was that good, and greatful to the memories he made for me as always fill me with joy and put a smile on my face. Great interview, chaps. UTV
@@nathanmoore7120 no not from Brum myself but playing for the blues wouldn’t sit right with me out of respect to the Villa fans but he has got to look after himself and was a decision behind it

How does this not have more views?
What a legend! Been years since we had an electric striker like him UTV!
His career doesn't always get the respect it deserves. He was as good as any of the great names of the 90's.
One of my fav players, and some amazing memories of watching him play. Nice to see him talking so fondly of the villa
A joy to watch when he played for us, so many great memories and a great interview, thanks guys UTV

@@nathanmoore7120 sorry mate but there are many of us who feel exactly the same way!!
I'm more angry with players like Delph, Milner and Downing tbh.. Yorke gave us 10 years and helped win us trophies..

Thanks Dean 👍🏾
great player for villa
Dwight, you absolute legend! My favourite player of ALLLLL TIME! Nuff love brother.
If only Dwight had the same passion about his son Harvey as he clearly does about football he may be worth listening!
Graham Fenton shock inclusive thatday
One of my favourite players as a kid but I don’t understand how he can call himself a villa fan after joining Blues later in his career! UTV
LOL! He is a Villa fan but he is not a brummie so playing for the filth is not a crime like it would be for me and you!
That is me presuming you are form brum!?
