Thanks Bilal for creating a video and bringing it to more individuals that need motivation and success stories in local community. For clearing and bringing more motivation we want to clear one thing that is i review isn't equal to 25 sales/users. Well after experience and knowing real numbers let me put it that way. 1 Review is equal to 80+ users/sales I genuinely pray and hope every new game that out after LIMINALCORE earns a lot more and same goes for next one after that. That's how the industry will grow!
I'm an Indian, and I found the video incredibly inspiring-not only for developers in Pakistan but for anyone passionate about game development. Many people believe that only games of GTA caliber are worth selling, but that’s not true. Players just want an enjoyable experience, and they're willing to pay for it. The key is to create a game, release it, gather feedback, improve it, and only then think about marketing and selling it. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Void Project was made in Pakistan. The work is brilliant, and I’ve seen its posts multiple times on Reddit too. Hats off to the team for their incredible effort!
Thank you! Yeah, gamers in subcontinent think that games like GTA and PUBG are the only sellable ones which has created such a negative space for our gaming industry in general. My point is that we should focus on crafting very polished short experiences and mechanics (so, called indie games) rather than focusing on open world adventures with multi-purpose designs and mega scope (which are mostly considered as AAA or AAAA games). In fact, it is a ladder: Indie/A -> AA -> AAA and that, we can't really dive into AAA without having any understanding of the appeal that Indie/A delivers to the audience. Because just as you mentioned, players want an enjoyable experience, and they are willing to pay for it! The Void Project is developed by my friends, Rayyan and Adil. Both are brilliant young individuals, and they are really passionate about quality games. The Void Project is their first real effort and definitely, we will see many more from them.
Thank you! Raji is a global success and Liminalcore doesn't compare to it. It is an indie success but not of the same caliber as Raji. Actually it depends on the resources put into the project. For one game earning 100k usd would be considered success because it have invested alot, and for another game earning 15k $ would be considered success because it have only invested 3 or 4k $. So it differs from case to case.
@@waqasshafiq2531 Basically you consider success where one get thier money back upto some extent. But my dear you ppl portraying this Success global recognition, dont you think you pull the bar down by giving overhyped. I am from India and we celebrate Success for the india game like "Raji".
@@saiyedbeckham buddy by no means it's a global success. Bilal is really excited for it because here in Pakistan we have a really small indie community. Almost like non existent compared to other countries. Some indies have been trying to create a successful game and this is the first one which have gotten success and some huge youtubers like IGP and Hollow played it. This is a huge thing for us as we didn't expected so much amazing feedback on the game. This was a very small scale project for us. We were successful from the first day based on returns. Yeah India's gaming industry is far ahead and creating some of the most amazing indie titles. Raji was a great game and deserved all the praise it got ❤ For us LIMINALCORE is a first success for the community and a big deal. It will encourage other indies to start working on there projects. We are looking towards better future and hoping to create better games and experiences. Nothing but love from us ❤
@@waqasshafiq2531 By no means to disrespect any of you or your team efforts for so long, Its just curiosity. Wishes for your Gaming industry to grow with lightning speed so we can clash on global level just like CRICKET 😁
Why not make games for mobile? for a solo dev, I think even thinking of making a PC game is stupid if you are doing it for money. making a mobile game is easier and also has a big chance of gaining a lot of audience if your game has a fun and rewarding game loop. even 10k active players playing only 10 minutes a day can make you $3k monthly. I have seen very average games with nothing special that have 1 million downloads. My personal goal is to revolutionize mobile gaming as I feel most of the mobile gaming market is pretty bad.
You just answered your question right at the end. Most of the mobile gaming market is just bad! Why is it so? This is because most of the individuals are in it for the money only. Quality is unfortunately not the first criteria to consider in the mobile market. Even Google is working real hard to fix this! I love well-crafted experiences in which devs has poured their hearts into. This is why, when we talk about iconic IPs, most of them are formed on the PC and console market which are then, ported to mobile. I am all for iconic IPs. But here, we see Car Parking 2024, Rickshaw Sims, Mega Shooter Pro and what not. I mostly see low effort games from local studios and that's fine as long as its all business. I like to see more passion in our local gamedev industry!
@@ProgrammerCheema but for me, it is the biggest reason for choosing the mobile market, I will give the players quality content and entertainment instead of just a simple 20-year-old buggy gameplay loop. for ig I'm planning on making a racing game. but I won't just make it a simple start-to-finish line game, what I have thought of doing is incorporating some time travel mechanics which I can combine with procedural-level generation. maybe add some bosses as well according to the level currently being played. Add some different multiplayer modes which you can play with friends. Instead of simple lvls, making them unique with carefully done lvl designing which makes the gameplay loop addictive no matter how many times you play it, you always discover something different. That is my goal and seeing the current mobile game market, I'm pretty confident that il provide an amazing and fun experience.
I see. And damn, that's quite a goal to achieve for a mobile game. It all boils down to quality at the end and I am glad that you are upto the task! Do share your game once its done and I will post it on my socials iA! :D
Most of our local industry (more than 95 percent) is already focusing on mobile game industry. PC indie gamedevs are a very small number of individuals who are working so hard and trying to achieve success. We should support them!

Raji was a great game and deserved all the praise it got ❤
For us LIMINALCORE is a first success for the community and a big deal. It will encourage other indies to start working on there projects.
We are looking towards better future and hoping to create better games and experiences. Nothing but love from us ❤
@@waqasshafiq2531 By no means to disrespect any of you or your team efforts for so long, Its just curiosity. Wishes for your Gaming industry to grow with lightning speed so we can clash on global level just like CRICKET 😁

stop being rude.

Yess, on my todo list. Suggest kerne ka shukeriya! 😁
They should also focus on mobile game industry. Not only in Pakistan but in every country u will find more mobile audiences then the PC. 😢
Most of our local industry (more than 95 percent) is already focusing on mobile game industry. PC indie gamedevs are a very small number of individuals who are working so hard and trying to achieve success. We should support them!
