Remember I went to ride the rollercoaster at Hanayashiki when you went to Tokyo Skytree? I tried to squint my eyes to see if I could see myself there when you zoomed in on the park. 😅
We visited Ueno Zoo, which has no rides but does have a defunct monorail (Japan's oldest, only 500 meters long and formerly providing a ride across the busy street that bisects the park, soon to be replaced by a train that will, physically, basically be a powered kiddie coaster disguised as transit). The big draw there is the giant pandas, who were international celebrities and indeed adorable. We went *to* Tokyo SkyTree but my daughter vetoed going up there, just wanted to do the shopping mall around the base.
My experience was the opposite when I first visited Tobu Zoo. While I wasn't underwhelmed by Kawasemi, I didn't expect anything from Regina II because I didn't even know it existed. Me and my friend even had a discussion about which ride we enjoyed more.
Most enthusiasts agree that a dead day at a park is awesome, but there's "dead" and then there's "desolate." (Ahem, Marine World.) At some point, you feel like, "If we left, would the staff all go home? Would it be kinder if we did that?" (I should remember to talk D&D with Meg sometime; I bet that'd be fun.)
You got the Pocari Sweat credit!
And the Aquarius!! (Which I think I like better 🤫)
Lovin the vlogs! Also... happy anniversary!
Thank you so much!! ❤️

Aww that zoo seems amazing! I love historical stuff like that. We went to that mall too (some of us got lost 😂)

Oooof, yeah that park man… 😬. It definitely leads you to be extra kind and thankful to the staff on those kinds of days for sure
That's NUTS how dead it was! I've never been to a park that is this empty.
Yeahhhh, it was a weekday, but still lol
