Hello sweeties, I would recommend reading the description for this one. Anyways, I decided to publish a new video today instead of Tuesday evening, as that will be new years eve so today I got an extra long whispered video for you all, which will hopefully last you till January 7th, which is when I will be back with the next ASMR video as usual 🙂. Much love and thank you for being here! 🙏
I got goosebumps when you mentioned the coincidence of the horse being 19 years old and named Time! Such a magical moment to overcome a fear like that! You're so strong!
I’ve been with you from day 1 - I am Super proud of you and Chris for making these changes ! You have changed soooooooooo many rhings in such a short time it’s just awesome ❤ happy new you new year !
Oh Ilse. I’m just so happy for you. I have been watching you since 2012. Thank you for sharing so much with us in this video. I’m just so proud of you and I don’t even really truly know you. I just share in your happiness and excitement in this new and healthier chapter in your life.
Knowing what I do about your childhood (from your videos where you shared some information), I always thought you were incredibly resilient but to now learn you have also taken control over alcohol & nicotine addictions, I think you are one of the strongest people I’ve ever known about. I’m 62 years old and still smoke. I quit in 1997 for 11 years so I know how hard it is. I was trying an absolutely awful case and with that stress I started smoking again. I don’t smoke a lot, less than half a pack a day, but when I tried to quit last year I found I didn’t have the strength. It takes so much emotional, psychological & physical energy and I didn’t have those resources to do it. Sharing your story has motivated me to try again. Thank you for sharing all this, I’m certain this will inspire others too! Happy New Year, Ilse.
Aww thank you so much Lisa! I hope you will succeed to quit again yourself ❤The book:' Atomic Habits' honestly was a huge help for me while quitting and building new habits because it helped me understand the inner struggle. For me, understanding what is happening is usually half the battle. You are very welcome and happy new year 😊
Hey Ilse, je bent goed bezig. Dank je wel voor je openheid! In kwetsbaarheid schuilt zoveel kracht ... Groeten vanuit Nederland.
What an amazing video Ilse! I’ve been watching you since around 2013 and love getting to know you more! I’m so happy for & proud of you in dealing/facing & working so hard on everything you’ve been through this year! I was particularly interested and impressed with the new habits you are implementing because I have been wanting to start several new healthier habits for literally years and hearing you talk about your experience is truly inspiring! I especially like the mantra about consistency vs perfection-so true! Thank you for being brave and sharing so much with us! I’d love periodic “updates” about your life with these new habits too! Hope 2025 brings you & Chris much contentment, growth and love! ❤
Oh gosh. So many things to comment on but the main thing is - thank you - for your vulnerability in sharing with us. It’s heartwarming and inspiring. I’m so happy for you w your sis. Teared up myself ♥️♥️
I admire you for quitting these two bad habbits! I quit smoking 2 years ago and it was one of the hardest things I went through but now, 2 years later, I know it was the best decision of my life! Stay strong because cravings still occur from time to time in the first year, year and a half! Happy New year and wish you even more great things in 2025!
Thank you for sharing your experiences with drinking and smoking/vaping, Ilse. It takes a lot of courage to share something so vulnerable! I’m proud of you, not only for moving beyond the bad habits but also for talking about it publicly. I think the support you and Chris are to each other with the setting aside of bad habits and picking up good ones is fantastic! Your drawing videos are some of my favorites, so I was really glad to see some new Ilse art as well 🥰 I hope you had a good Christmas and that you have a happy, healthy, prosperous New Year in 2025!
Ilse, I feel so emotional hearing you describe all the big milestones you’ve been through and accomplished this year, you should be really proud of yourself! A book I can’t recommend enough that I think you would really benefit from is Wintering by Katherine May! It really helped me through some tough winters and changed my perspective about healing after difficult times!
❤ Ilse. What a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing your true life stories. Beautiful stories. I'm happy that you and Chris are sharing this journey of positive change. You seem so much lighter as in letting all the heaviness of your past habits go. Keep up the wonderful work on yourselves. Never apologize for your happiness and for your emotions. Have a wonderful New Year's Eve and New Year 🎉. I will be faithfully watching your videos and listening to your whispers in 2025.😊
Oh my gosh, you have had a phenomenal year. The work you have put in to break free of what no longer serves you is astounding. And your excitement and pride in your achievements comes across so clearly ✨ From one human to another, I am so very happy for you. Huge respect and love from Ireland ♥️ Ellie
Ilse, your vulnerability and honesty have always been part of what's had me coming back. I don't comment enough and, as you mentioned, only see the sides of you that are published, but your talks and your videos have so often been one of the only things I had during tough times in life & I just can't tell you how much I appreciated this particular video. It's amazing the journey you and Chris have been on since 2012 - sometimes it feels like yesterday & other days it feels like decades lol. I'm so happy for you both that you've done so much to kick bad habits and that it's also given you both the opportunity to get even closer. My wife and I are working similarly to incorporate healthier habits and to have happier, more fulfilling lives. I'll definitely check out Atomic Habits, I'm really curious about it from what you've mentioned. I've been feeling a bit sad, lately, as I've noticed in a lot of the work to heal and do better, that I've unfortunately lost a lot of relationships along the way. It was really just nice to hear from you about all the work you're doing, too. Also, the striped sweater immediately made me laugh hahaha - yes, very "typical you." The Nike sweater is so cute, I really love it. I've been working on cross stitching, which has been a really fun way to express some creativity! I love that first mantra. I'm going to have to try and and affirm that more for myself. Really just wanted to express my pride and happiness for you and Chris in working on these changes, thank you for being so vulnerable in sharing your growth/change in life, & of course, congratulate you both on finally getting married!
Ilse you are truly inspirational and resilient. I’m so proud of you. You’ve encouraged me to face my challenges head-on and I appreciate you being so vulnerable telling us this very personal journey. Thank you for being who you are. ♥️ so much love to you!!! Wishing you a beautiful, healthy, happy new year!
Hello ilse , happy holidays ❤️ I just wanna say how much we appreciate you for being able to be vulnerable with us the way you did in this video, a lot of us have been vulnerable in your comments from time to time with our struggles and you always give great positive feedback so we’re happy to reciprocate that 🫶🏼 I myself have tried to stop vaping multiple times and have not been able to. I can’t imagine stopping addictions cold turkey + going through some of the things you went through at the same time. We’re very proud of you doing what you felt was best for yourself 😊
Congrats!!! I quick smoking in June and I never felt better. It’s strange cause I never thought you with your soft voice was a smoker but I’m so glad you quit!!!!
I hear you on the smoking. I did it for years then quit. It's one of the hardest things to do. Next year is 4yrs for me. I didn't use vape because I was told by MD that you can heal more from actual smoking than vaping. He said vaping causes lungs to separate into popcorn like chunks and it's irreversible.
OK beautiful human being should have enough anxiety in her life she’s trying to get rid of. You come out with this bullshit story so not true google it . Don’t embarrass yourself
I have heard of this but I had a full check up and do not have popcorn lungs. Almost all of my friend vape or vaped as well an none of my friends got that. I do know that some people can get that from vaping, but it is definitely not something that has or will happen to everyone. I am happy you quit smoking as well :)
I'm Sending BIG HUGS to You!🙏😇😘 CONGRATS on All Your Accomplishments!🎉🎉💕💕💐🌸🌸💯👍 I Quit Smoking in the Year 2017!😃💜 & Stopped Drinking Shortly After that! And Now Working on Myself! (Even with PTSD!) So Yea. I CAN RELATE!💖😊 Your Drawings Are NICE!👍 The Butterfly is BEAUTIFUL! & means TRANSFORMATION! & that's what Your doing Now! TRANSFORMING!💚 I also Draw once in a While!😎 Chris is Brave!😂 I WOULD PANIC, & LOSE MY 💩, if I Couldn't Talk with My Partner!😂 Thank You for Sharing Your Story, & Yourself with Us!👍 I'm going to Try out those Books!📚 & that Picture You Showed of Yourself in your Favorite Sweater, is CUTE!😃🌸 I was Born in 1978, & My Partner was Born in 1988! Like You were!😊💛 & I LOVE, R.L. STINE BOOKS!!! Always have Since I was a Kid! Also Love the Book, IN A DARK DARK ROOM AND OTHER SCARY STORIES!😎😃👍 & SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK!💖 Check them out, if you haven't heard of them!😊 (if you want to, of course)😂 Well, anyways, You DESERVE TO BE PROUD OF YOURSELF! No Matter What!👍 Take Good Care! & Be Safe! Your doing GREAT!🙏💜🌸 God Bless!🙏😇💜💙
You give me hope! I don’t drink because my mother was an alcoholic however nicotine has a hold on me for with the cigs. I’m so ashamed because I’m retired from nursing. I know better but my nerves are terrible. I went through a divorce and then one of my 9 yr old pups had a heart attack and died. His brother grieved himself so much he passes 10 months later. I would never guessed you smoked but I’ve heard vaping is even more difficult. My mom died in August and I determined to try my best before it kills me. Did you wean at all or pretty much say I’m done. I’m so proud of you Eli’s❤❤I’m one that has bouts of depression anyway since my dad was killed during holidays. So, happy for you honey. ❤Marnie
You know, I honestly think you have nothing to be ashamed off because knowing what not to do versus actually doing it are two completely different things imo. But I do completely understand why you feel that way cause I was ashamed too, for years! hence why I have never opened up about it until now, now that I quit for 4 months and have no cravings anymore. I did not wean off, I just quit from one day to the next but had the help of the atomic habits book which was a huge help. I am honestly not sure if I would have been able to get through it, without simultaneously reading that book because it made the whole process more rational and logical for me and it also teaches you why you have bad habits and how to successfully change them ^_^. I am sorry you went through all of those things :( Once you feel that you are somewhat ready I'd say, give it another shot. Remember, the struggle in the beginning is not permanent. it might feel that way and that's why most people give up during this stage, but it is not. it will get better ❤
Thank u for sharing ur life stories ❤🌹it takes strength to do that and to take new steps to change/make changes. If u dont mind, what do u do for work..
I am sorry to hear that :/ I edit my videos in a way where the audio is at a good volume while having headphones in, not like regular speakers. That might be why but I do that with every video, so I am not sure why this one is different.
Those drawings are amazing mine would be like stick figures by comparison... Do you still have independent control of those dark arching wedges (eyebrows)?... BTW Those things you have had to overcome are actually not that unusual. Keep it up God willing you will live a long happy/healthy life. If not make sure you have your Jesus parachute on (Romans 10:9) and get ready for an incorruptible system upgrade:)

That doctor was making that up. Not true.

Was so looking forward to this but tried on 3 different devices and even at max volume it's barely audible ☹
