    I've always thought that the best food you can eat is what you make yourself and what your mom makes. ❤❤❤❤🥰😋👍

    You were on of the first ASMR artists I found on RUclips in 2012 by searching for “whispering”

    This is such a fun coincidence. I just made chili today and then saw this video while winding down for sleep.

      I like to use ancho chili's by soaking them in warm water and then blending them into a paste with canned tomatoes and tomato paste and sometimes corn chips to get a thicker paste. I also blend in caramelized onions or use onion powder cause it's a texture issue for me. I also tend to add beans, it's then a game of getting the chili to thickness that I like, usually by starting with the thick paste and adding stock till it's slightly thinner than I like so that it can cook down during a long simmer.

      Hahaha that is a fun coincidence! I wish my stomach could handle pepper but unfortunately by stomach reacts really bad to that type of spice so I will have to do without them :) Corn chips is a interesting ingredient though to get it to thicken up, I will keep that in mind!

    ❤ Ilse... I just love you! You were my first ASMR artist I followed 10 years ago... I so enjoy your videos and whispers... I've only followed probably about 6 other asmr artists faithfully. I'm very particular. I just watched an old one of you doing your makeup and hair brushing in your grandmother's house... Simple but tingly. Happiest of Holidays to you and your husband and pets.😊

    Hi Ilse. Just watched the video and loved it. You asked for comments about any ingredients people used and I always add a couple of tablespoons of bulgur wheat about 5 to 10 minutes towards the end of cooking time. It adds lovely texture and fibre to the finished dish, without changing the flavour of the chilli. Me and my family love it. It's worth a try.

    Looks great! I like to lightly brown the beef first, then remove and set aside. Then you can drain the fat from the beef or use it to sauté the vegetables. Also I think you might find that using a finely minced clove of fresh garlic is more flavorful than garlic powder. Just add it to the onions after they soften a bit before adding the green pepper. Just my opinion of course!

    • @TheWaterwhispersASMR
      @TheWaterwhispersASMR  17 дней назад +1

      Thank you for the suggestion :) I will try tat next time as I always have fresh garlic in the house as well and use fresh garlic often in different dishes.

    I make mine with a ground deer, pork, and beef mix. I do the onion, bell peppers and chilis, all the chili spices, big can crushed maters and bottle of tomato juice, 4 cans of different beans. I brown the meat on the stove and let it all slow cook in the crockpot all day. Sometimes I add a hit of coffee or some chipotle peppers. And of course cornbread in a cast iron skillet to go with it.

    • @TheWaterwhispersASMR
      @TheWaterwhispersASMR  17 дней назад

      Ground deer 😮? I have never heard of that before but really makes me wonder what that tastes like! Wow thank you for sharing how you make it! The way you do it is completely new to me 🙂

    • @kudzu_
      @kudzu_ 17 дней назад

      @@TheWaterwhispersASMR Yes! I grew up hunting and have hunters in my life now that share with me. Deer is very lean, so that's why I use the ground in chili with fattier meats. I think it's pretty tasty but I'm also very accustomed to it. One deer can stock your freezer for a long time, and I honestly feel better about eating it than the commercially farmed meat I get at the store.

    I don’t think you screwed up that all😂 The best thing you did was toast all those spices it Wakes them up and all the aroma comes through from the toasting. This is how chefs do it

    • @TheWaterwhispersASMR
      @TheWaterwhispersASMR  17 дней назад

    Dont know if it's a southern (US) thing but we eat cornbread with chilli. Sometimes saltines or ritz crackers.
    And you're right... people need to chill.... you never claimed to be a pro chef. 😂

    • @TheWaterwhispersASMR
      @TheWaterwhispersASMR  16 дней назад

      I think it might be :) Cornbread as far as I know isn't really a Canadian or European thing but I could be wrong. saltines and rits crackers is also something I only learned about when I moved to Canada!

    • @ambam90
      @ambam90 16 дней назад

      @TheWaterwhispersASMR it's sooo good! And easy to name if you get the jiffy cornbread box mix. It's already measured out, all you need is an egg and like ¼ cup of milk.

    Love your videos always but sweetie yes you washed your hands but when you broke up the beef you grabbed your spoon again twice then washed then grabbed it back in your hand. So the contamination of the raw beef is still on your spoon I just don't want you to getting sick it's just one mother's advice.

      She was conscious of the raw beef on the wooden spatula handle and wiped it off with the paper towel after drying her hands. Is it your version of perfect, no. But like she said, she’s cooking dinner at home for her and her partner. Chill.
