Hakugei was my final RMC and it's the best in my opinion! I said it felt like a mix between Twisted Colossus and Steel Vengeance. But as much as I love Steel Vengeance, Hakugei holds its speed better (no mid course) and it never feels repetitive to me. The ride ends exactly where it should and the flow is nearly flawless start to finish aside from like one overbank that didn't do much. Iron Gwazi is a close 2nd for me!
I'm glad you liked Nagashima! It's definitely one of my favorite parks. It has a really relaxed atmosphere and I love it. Hakugei is just way too good. It's the only RMC I've done and I feel so fortunate to of experienced it.
I’m so jealous rn😭😂 Too many rare coasters in one park, I hope I get to this park one day, to ride Steel Dragon and Hakugei would be a dream, great vlog!
The Ultra Twister is a look back at the days when having inline twists was a real novelty. My Japan tour didn't really allow for a side trip to Nagashima Spa Land, but I'd love to make a coaster-centric visit someday and get out there. I think Hakugei is the most bucket-list ride in Japan for me at this point (now that I've done some of the dark rides at DisneySea).
Hakugei and SD2000 are such a strong 1-2 punch. Hakugei is my number one and I remember not being super excited for SD2000 until I got to the park and just saw how massive it was. It honestly gets a lot of unnecessary hate by other channels but I absolutely LOVED SD2000. If NSL were to get a very good launch coaster one could argue that it has one of the strongest top 3's in the world.
Awesome, awesome day. I think, after seeing today's and yesterday's videos, I would probably prefer Nagashima to Fuji-Q. I've been a Hakugei fan since it first appeared in the Madness several years ago. It's probably my favorite RMC based just on looks. Hopefully I'll get to try it out one day.
I'm not able to squeeze this park into my upcoming trip. Hoping the next time! Are you going to do an RMC ranking video sometime soon? Iron Gwazi is a perfect ride to me, I will be shocked if anything ever ranks higher for me
19:09 Who is that ridiculously handsome, almost 50 year old, man in the yellow Bandit shirt and Kreator cap? I thought he was stalking you but it cannot be because he is ahead of you in the line to Steel Dragon 2000. 🤔
quick question if you can answer it. I was watching Taylor and Sarah roast a channel called Chalk Coasters top 10, and Sarah said she thinks she agrees with Wildcats Revenge over Hakugei, was she disappointed?
Can’t speak for her, but I don’t think she was disappointed at all, more so we only only got 2 rides due to the weather/lines, and Wildcat’s Revenge is also phenomenal. The two aren’t that far off in my rankings either
This is false, my wife has tattoos and she had no problem with getting in. You’re probably thinking of the actual spa’s which then yes, they don’t allow tattoo’s. (Also, Hakugei, “ruined”, come on now 😝)
@coaster365 I was told you have to cover up just to enter the park if you have tattoo's maybe that wasn't true? And Hakugei looks terrible like most of the other rmcs.
Steel Dragon is so epic. Can't wait to see your final 2024 rankings.
Going to do just Japan rankings after these vlogs as well!

Almost verbatim my take as well!!
This is my dream one day, RMC compltion!

日本に来てくれてありがとうございます!私も昨日スチールドラゴンに乗りましたが最高でした!
Such a BEAUTIFUL country!! We had an amazing time ❤️🤍

I would agree! Definitely had similar “eh” feelings before riding Steel Dragon and it may end up being Top 5 on the entire trip

Very fair! And I do think it’s the better overall run park as well between the two. Just not as pretty haha
Hakugei was my first international RMC as well. I ride it in August this year. It was awesome.
I would really love a ranking of your Japanese credits at the end of the videos, as you did last year :) love the Japanese content!
Going to do a Top 15 once the vlogs are done!
What about Superman El Ultimo Escape? Also a Morgan, no?
And the one in Santa Monica 🤦♂️ - bad trivia moment for me lol

Absolutely 😎

Amidst all the other people wearing yellow shirts in that line? Really hard to pick out I don’t know 🤷♂️😝
@@coaster365Lies!
On Hakugei, is the front or back better?
We unfortunately only got 2 rides, both towards the back (which was great, obviously 😅)
Was the Space Shuttle ride (Intamin Looping Starship) open?
Is that a flat? I actually have no idea haha
@@coaster365 yes. It is a flat ride (blue and white). Located close to the ferris wheel

The fact this park doesn't allow people with tattoos to enter and they ruined their Intamin woodie lets me know it's not a good place to support.

@@Coastervisuals98 definitely not true. Maybe for the water park, not the dry park
