I just finished reading Coach K's "The Gold Standard", it was about the 2006-2008 years leading up to this game and the game against Spain for the Championship. It was very insightful and honest, it gave me a better appreciation for the NBA players who I, at this point, had considered Prima Donnas and would rather watch NCAA games instead of pro. I already had a great appreciation of Coach K, because I had been a Duke fan since 1988....but even this book gave me a greater appreciation for him and his coaching this team highlighted one of Coach K's greatest coaching skills,,,,adaptation!! Well done by all bringing the gold home in 2008!

Never relied so much from the 3pt and inside the paint. They were very athletic and skilled. Look how the 2019 USA team in FIBA relied so much with 3pt shooting, they were a massive disappointment.
