My fav part was the tea session at the end 🍵🫖 Everything you said about dietary restrictions is 100% true! My mind went straight to anyone struggling with diabetes… sometimes (ESPECIALLY TYPE 1) their blood sugar can drop instantly and they need an immediate remedy. Juice boxes and small candies are something that I regularly carry with me, and that’s just in case my diabetic friend happens to run out! The fact that they didn’t even let y’all bring your own water in baffles me and doesn’t make sense at all 😬
Yep it’s just crazy that these restrictions were set for vendors who literally would not be able to just get up and go whenever they want either. Definitely hope they change this policy in the future!!
I am disappointed to see such a negative take. I will say from my stand point as a person with allergies I didn't have any problems bringing in the food I needed when I explained the need. I was also allowed to bring in unopened water bottles.
@@AmethystMay_ hi! I’m glad you didn’t run into any issues, but that wasn’t everyone’s experience. From my perspective, vendors shouldn’t need to explain the need or feel like they have to sneak to bring in sustenance and water, and that’s only a part of my issue with the event. Not to mention that I absolutely saw people having to dump out unopened water at security. The inconsistency is also unacceptable.
Usually it only takes me half an hour to set up my stock, so I don't chance it by keeping everything out in the open. I also put things up and wrap my "see you tomorrow!" banner around my whole setup and clip it so people aren't inclined to steal. Obviously it's not fool-proof and a thief insistent on stealing can take things, but I've not experienced that (thankfully) yet!

AHHHHH I was waiting for this! 😭
It's a long one!!
Such a great recap - lots of thoughts to ponder 😊🎉🎉
Thank you!
The food and drink policy is rediculous! If they dont allow it for most likely alcohol related reasons theu should provide vendors water and food
New sub here! 🤗💫I hope you achieve your goals and get lots and lots of love!!!!❤🌸🌸

Have you ever had your product stolen after hours at a convention? (I noticed you were hesitant to put out your stock on setup day)
