The red deer is an unexpected but solid choice for a free anniversary animal, it adds some variety to the game as another new European animal and before it, there were only three other deer in the game (reindeer, moose and fallow deer), and speaking of those deer, they're all exclusive to paid DLCs, so it's nice to have at least one deer as part of the base game. :)
My boi Elk is just sitting there and waiting for his chance to get in too.
Seriously, hearing those thing's calls in your zoo would be awesome.
@@jacobtidwell8869 Maybe they should make a forest/woodland animal pack with elk, opossums, nine-banded armadillos, wild boars, uh, what else would fit in there? 😅

I didn't comment this during the Oryx video but I really like how you acknowledge that watching people who are really good at the game can be discouraging because you feel like youre not good at the game. I love watching your videos and I definitely feel like I'm not good enough to play sometimes. Hearing you say that you feel the same way when watching others youtubers play was really encouraging, so thank you for that! This park is beautiful! I was thinking it would be cool for you to somehow incorporate like a water drain into and exhibit. Like thinking about conservation, chemical run off is a huge concern for the wilderness especially around mining towns. Here in Colorado it is the sole reason for a ghost town due to lead water contamination. It would be cool to see a water drain pipe integrated into an enclosure water system. Then you could do a info board about it! If your gonna do bears it would be cool since they eat fish contaminated with toxic mining runoff! Just an idea 💡. Keep it up, maybe someday I'll be able to do what you're so good at!
This is such a nice exhibit~ Hopefully the deer learn to appreciate more than just the cave part.
It is a cool little cave area, too, though! They look so good and natural wandering around the exhibit!
I think it would be cool if you did a Grizzly Bear habitat with a cute cozy log cabin to act as a viewing area for the bears. I think that would fit really well in Elderwood.
This was definitely a surprise! (Both the deer and the video.) I do like how this habitat turned out -- it feels sort of like the way you designed the Amur leopard habitat. It's nice and chill, showcases the animals really well, works with the terrain in a really cool way.... Including all the terrain variation and the different elevations throughout the park really is making a huge difference. It all looks so good!
So great to see the Red Deer finally get in the roster. After two years of having scenery items based on it.
I love the red deer, I think they’re beautiful and it’s nice to have another deer species, especially cuz there are only three other deer in the game and they are all DLC, it is a little unfortunate that we don’t have more North American deer species but it’s a wonderful addition nonetheless!

I would love to see you building the Bat enclosure in the cave just for the dake og being able to call it the *Batcave* . Makes the Batman fan I am really happy. :3
We do have a red deer statue in the classical base game set , the reindeer statue works as well though
Now that they have the Red Deer they just HAVE to make an NZ animal pack with Captain Cook boars, Kiwis, Weka and a bunch of other birds and animals like a Tuatara Exhibit and maybe even a short tail bat one
Some tips for the cave. Stalagmites and stalagtites don't really grow in an angle, as they are formed by dripping water which is of course vertical. Also it is most realistic if you put them under each other (at least a few of them throughout). I would not use allign to surface for them and only put them vertically, also you could always put several right next to each other and form new sized ones.
A free surprise Dino drop for JWE2 being the Atrociraptor would be a smart move by frontier also.
Paleolithic caves are so fascinating. Such a fun idea :)
The cave reminds me of "The Devils Arse", a cave system near me where they have concerts & events
Having a paleolithic themed exhibit for them was a really good idea. I'm sure the completed cave will look awesome whether you make the paintings ingame or use images on billboards

You know i thought you would integrate the Red Deer in the zoo but after a few weeks probably but this was a suprise 😁 Suggestion for the fishing village,add like a Sea Lion Harbour to it,would be nice to integrate that animal. The Cougar would be another animal i would love to see,you will definitely build something creative with it 👍

When I checked the website and wiki after seeing this, I realised that it's not mod. Unexpected. The first anniversary didn't have one new species/subspecies. Were the modded ones Frontier's idea/doing or someone else's?
This is old af now but frontier gave us a black ruffed lemur for free for an anniversary before the red deer

IKR? They should add the Atrociraptor for free and then the Lystrosaurus, Oviraptor, Microceratus and Moros intrepidus can be added in a "Small Creature Pack" or something.
