The writers left subtle hints throught this episode. In all of the flashbacks, John was always sitting, never standing. Hassan, you surprised everyone.
Wow, just wow. The group as a collective each figured the episode out and broke it down as if they made the freaking episode. -Hassan's third eye and telepathic powers to see into the future predicting the surprise twist ending -Zola's perceptiveness and knowledge about walkabouts. 13:05 Exactly! Locke is literally on his walkabout on the island in a sense. -Audrey's 8:35 moment. She understood his whole character in just a couple scenes. 12:54 She gets the poetic nature of this scene. -David for being awesome :)
This is a great group of observant people to watch Lost with! Although I am worried that they will figure out a lot of mysteries and not be surprised by the reveals 😂
They are super observant! Like, hyper-observant. However, they have been surprised by a lot throughout this season, so no need to worry 😂 We’re actually watching the S1 finale tonight.
I feel like Lost set a new standard for TV drama and since then, many shows have taken a page from Lost (Cliffhangers, mythology, character depth, etc). So people who watch it for the first time nowadays have a greater backlog of TV to draw from and compare it to.
- Ah yes, Walkabout, the episode that convinces everyone to stick with the show. I'm excited! - OH MY GOD HOW THE HELL DID HE FIGURE IT OUT?! WHAT?! - And Zola figured out the eating boars thing! Your friends are good at this - Audrey's reaction to Locke throwing the knife at Sawyer was great - "Hunter, knife enthusiast, killer?" Nope, he worked at a box company - "Does she speak English, or no?" Well... - Audrey: "You do it, you'll be great" Claire: "Maybe I'll do it." How do they predict this stuff? - "I wouldn't bring that up, buddy." HAHAHA - Randy Nations is the worst, I forgot about that guy - Audrey's face when Hurley started swearing was priceless - "Shook. I'm shook." That's it, that's the entire show - I love how you zoomed in on Zola grabbing Hassan which Christian showed up - AUDREY TOTALLY GUESSED IT OH MY GOD - Audrey analyzing the music was spot on - I feel like Hassan is going to guess The Man from Tallahassee, especially after the context that will be given - Honestly, the whole "Locke found civilization but didn't tell anyone" totally sounds like something Locke would do - I'm excited to see their reactions to White Rabbit next week
Lost is that series when you finish it the first time you're like ''It was pretty good, I guess.'' And then when you've finished it for the 2nd time you're like: ''I'm gonna buy the blu-ray special edition and take it with me in the grave!!!''
3:55 Wow! I had to look up translations online to know what was said by either Sun or Jin when they aren't subtitled. I've never seen a reactor nail what they said like that!
I've heard other people watching this for the first time thinking Locke was handicapped by the opening lol. When I first seen neither my mom or I thought that we thought probably he was in shock or my mom had a thought that maybe but didn't say anything lol
If I remember correctly, the first time I watched this episode I did guess that Locke had been in a wheelchair. I noticed the camera angle focusing on his feet and that he was always sitting in the flashbacks - but I didn't guess until half way through the episode. Hassan got it right away! Whoa. Maybe he is "special"? (But, then again, he did miss the fact that Locke is not an actual Colonel, so...)
Wow! We just watched a video of some dude playing the $#@! out of a Gershwin tune. Kinda looked a lot like one these guys doing, zee reaction. Hey John Locke, youse guys rock!
Erm........................................... I´m pretty sure this episode´s title was "LOCKEabout"! Not Walkabout! I´m so surprised nobody noticed this yet.......... Edit: WTF?? It IS Walkabout! Well then, where do I know Lockeabout from? Is that one of Giacchino´s track names?.... Honestly, wtf?.... .This feels like the Mandela effect. I was 100% sure, the name was Lockeabout, yet I can´t find anything under that term on google! Did they rename the episode afterwards??.....

Hassan, you surprised everyone.
This is the one that often gets people hooked!
So true. They are definitely hooked!
The music is so good. Locke’s Theme is one of my favorite pieces of all time.
Agreed, it’s just so tragic and fits his character perfectly

so fun to watch Lost with other Losties & new viewers. Thanks for sharing. I know it takes lots of time to edit this together!
Others: You can’t re-watch LOST on the Couch episodes while waiting for the next episode.
Me: Don’t tell me what I can’t do.
😂
Hassan of science, Zola of faith.
Dude how much sadder is it that this is John right before crash. He’s already lost Helen and is paying someone to pretend to be her

This generation is much smarter than we were back in 2004 watching this as young adults.

I am SHOCKED no one cried at this episode. I weep every single time.
Man Locke’s story is one of the most heartbreaking ever tbh

Oh great. People hating on Kate this early when you don't even know anything about her yet.
This episode hooked me

😆 Truth! And it ages like fine wine.
I love this description so much.

Yes! It’s so cool to have Hassan on board. I never knew what she said there until he mentioned it.

Finally, Walkabout is here.

Yeah, as someone that can pick up on what filmmakers are drawing attention to, I always thought the shots of his foot are a little too long.
If I remember correctly, the first time I watched this episode I did guess that Locke had been in a wheelchair. Halfway through is still impressive! I don’t think many people catch on to that the first time. And yes, he is indeed “special” haha 😆
1:53 the Ohh someone already into the show
can we talk about locke's boss who ridiculed a man in a wheel chair?
Wow, Hassan really pays attention to detail. Looking forward to the next episodes!
You're a good host!
Thanks!
You & Suraj are the two best hosts.
Wow! We just watched a video of some dude playing the $#@! out of a Gershwin tune. Kinda looked a lot like one these guys doing, zee reaction. Hey John Locke, youse guys rock!
Hmm, that guy does look familiar... glad you enjoyed haha
The Kate hate begins early
Good reactions and discussions
HR needs to contact randy
Another great episode on the couch!
Thanks!
You're biased. That doesn't count.
@@kuhpunkt But am I wrong? I think not.
@@marknaffie5143 Not saying that you're wrong :P
"serving" is such a gross euphemism for being in the U.S. military yikes
One of my favorite epidodes👏
Go Hassan!!!
Sorry but Shannon proved her point. She can fend for herself with just her you know what
good guessing Hassan!
ahhhh my fav character !

Wow, I’ve never heard it called that before haha. You might be thinking of Giacchino’a track “Locke’d Out Again”
To all of you that are watching this after I did, the cricket is not in your house. 🤣
My microphone picked up everything
One friendly advice make the thumbnail more expressive and better you will get more views ☺️
I already don't want to watch this reaction because Hassan figured it out so quickly. Boo.
