Isn’t inspiration an interesting thing… the videos inspire people (and motivate us), then your note inspires us…. And the circle continues. It’s a lonely sport and a sense of community has been lovely.
I read somewhere walking the horse is very beneficial for many reasons, connection, trust, and also horse needs to balance himself without the rider on, and yes, it's easier to walk with a horse than with a dog!
So glad to see your video. We hike with horses all the time. I think it is good for them to know how to hike. Helps bring down heart rates and I am not so sore after the ride. Life is good.
So happy to see I'm not the only one who walks around with my horse on a lead. My neighbours think I'm crazy. Really hoping to do our first endurance race next year here in Spain.
You guys are my new favorite RUclips channel! I am also an endurance writer - well, a retired endurance rider. I have over 5000 miles in endurance here in the United States. A lot of competitive trail ride miles as well. I am 73 years old now and trail ride, but don’t compete. I think you guys are extraordinarily more than ordinary! Please keep those videos coming and good luck on the upcoming hundred. ❤❤❤❤
Great way to spend some time with your horse. We very rarely get snow here. Rode this past weekend. It gets VERY hot here in the summer. Middle south Texas.
Hey! Are you o.k? I have been watching for a new video fro months. As a budding endurance rider I have enjoyed your videos so much. A great education and entertainment. I LOVE your beautiful outlook on life. Please let me know if you're alright. Missing updates.
Hey, All is good! Just real busy with other things in the winter, but we are back now! Started riding outside again a few weeks ago and have been filming. I can never truly predict a season but I think we will have some good content for people newer to the sport. Happy to have a kindred spirit aboard!
Cant wait for your new video! I love your channel. Hi from Australia, used to do endurance riding in Western Australia. Getting back into horses this year
Can't wait for your next video! I'm hoping to get started with endurance riding in NS too, but winter is just terrible, I haven't been out yet since the snow arrived!
I absolutely love all your videos and always feel inspired after watching them. Thank you for sharing with us!

I truly do love hiking with the horses but already I'm wishiing the winter away so we can get back into some serious riding!

You are "singing my song" from the beginning of your comment to the end!
Beautiful spot with beautiful horses and wonderful people
Shirley! Hope you are getting out too - while we still have some decent days!
First. Azim has a gorgeous head and neck. Second. I want to go to Riverdale too! Third. You ladies are awesome and having too much fun. Lol.
We did have a lot of fun on our hike!

We get some strange looks too. Spain! Wow, I bet there is a lot of pavement riding there. Have fun!

I'm really enjoying watching these videos while I do my ironing. So fun!
Will be starting a new season of trail very soon so let that ironing build up a bit !

What you're doing is great ! I hike with my horses often when i can. Right now it's hunting season.
Yep, hunting season drives me crazy!
I do a lot of hiking with my horse and get odd looks from dog walkers, cyclists, and riders!
We get some strange looks too. I think maybe even a bit of a 'snub" from some equestrians - their loss!
@@diaryofanendurancerider they seem very puzzled that nothing is wrong yet I’m leading my horse!
Great for rider fitness too!
It sure is!
