ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From Michael Schur, executive producer of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Parks and Recreation," comes a smart, unique new comedy that follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, "House of Lies," "Veronica Mars"), an ordinary woman who, through an extraordinary string of events, enters the afterlife where she comes to realize that she hasn't been a very good person. With the help of her wise afterlife mentor (Ted Danson, "Bored to Death," "Cheers"), she's determined to shed her old way of living and discover the awesome (or at least the pretty good) person within.

Brazilians and Portuguese both speak Portuguese, but they’re no more similar than Danish and Norwegian, to pick one of many examples.
British English is distinct from American English in a lot of ways - if you can isolate a language pattern that is a feature of one language/dialect but not another then they are demonstrably distinct.
No English person would say *blue* jeans as opposed to blue *jeans*. It’s mutually intelligible, but it easily classifies which trouser leg of English you have travelled down.

Ted Danson’s “Join the club” is so funny but also lowkey supportive when u know he was sort of a mentor figure for her, with this being her first acting job. It feels like he’s trying to reassure her without talking down to her, let her know this happens all the time, even to seasoned actors like him. And praising Kristen’s acting with gum in her mouth was really nice too, he just genuinely likes to cheer people on

What The Fuck Fucking Rhymes With Florida ? -Shows like Parks and Rec and The Office ended because the actors and producers didn't want to do the show anymore. Brooklyn Nine-Nine will probably end next season (and was canceled on Fox last season) due to poor ratings.
