Nick. You’re so positive all the time and little things that would agitate the average person you seem to find the best in it. Very special person and we are all lucky to have someone like you to watch. Thank you.
I just cannot get my head around how doing these efforts in a crowded park (I think it was on Ben's video where a dog nearly took you both out) is preferable to a track session. Love the sincerity of this video. Hope you both achieve your goals.
Awesome! Manchester will be my first marathon! Managed 18 miles last weekend which is my longest ever run! I imagine i'll be a few hours behind you though!
I used to run / train in Battersea park . Nice environment to run around and a open air gym that if your wish ( or have enough energy) it's a good way to complete a training session. Great video
Great session guys, well done. 😀 Don’t think I could manage that with my relative paces over that distance. 🤔 Good luck at Manchester Nick, I’ll be there too ….. an hour or so behind you. Hopefully….🤞 🤞🤞
Brilliant - Been waiting for this one - two top blokes and top athletes- loved the video - keep up the videos guys amazing work . Ben you need some boom shakalaka socks 💪💪🏋️♀️🏋️♀️🏃♂️🏃♂️💨💨💨💨
I really liked seeing the teamwork here. Glad it didn't become a race. I know sometimes when I run with someone else the pace gets a little hot at times. But yeah I'd definitely be motivated if I was running next to either one of you. The one thing that is missing in the video though ... What does your recovery look like? I know you get 60 seconds but is that 60 seconds of walking or a shuffle jog or even something faster? Judging from Strava it looked like a shuffle but it would've shown the viewers the recovery side of things. Definitely enjoyed the video and hearing each other's take on the workout.
Fantastic video. Subscribe to both of your channels. I really struggle regulating pace during a run that calls for it. At one point, midway, you decreased your splits by only a couple of seconds per km. Any advice/drills?
Thank you 🙌🏻 so it’s important to try and run to ‘effort’ not always pace in these sessions. When it’s as flat as Battersea often that lines up. Not every rep will be faster but a slight progression throughout is ideal 📈
Hey ! I absolutely love your content, really motivates me. I was just wondering what is the exact name of your watch? I'd like to change mine. Thanks a lot and keep on the quality content !
I don’t suffer from that but I do from nursery germs that you can’t avoid 🤣 try getting good rest between sessions and gradually building 📈 small progressions. That should help.
What a collab !
Very happy to have had company for this beastly sesh!
my 2 favourite running channels ❤ Cheers from Canada!🎉
❤️❤️❤️ 🇨🇦
Great video bro!!. We need to get a Ben, Nick and Philly Collab. Love you all, wish you all the best.
That would be epic! Maybe one day we’ll all try target the same race #BerlinMarathon 🇩🇪

Appreciate your kind words!! 🫶🏻 remember a lot to these sessions (and racing) is about remaining positive.
I’ve watched this so many times now- great inspiration for those treadmill workouts in cold 🇳🇴. Thank you both 🎉
It’s great you and Ben met up again. It was through him that I was introduced to your channel the first time.
If you guys do this collab regularly, wouldn’t be surprised to see sub 2:20 in the near future. My 2 fav RUclipsrs btw 😅 great content
That’s the dream 🎯 🤞🏻

That's very good content. I especially enjoyed the comments throughout the session 👌
2 of the best. Learnt a lot from both of you. Shout out from South Africa 🇿🇦
Love this collaboration, you should definitely try and both do the Cambridge half marathon next year!

Glad you enjoyed it! Working hard that’s for sure!! Yesss I agree, once he beats my PBs then I’ll have to give him a pair ;)
Yes yes make him work for them - well done guys 👍🏻🏃♂️🏃♂️💨💨💨💨
I really enjoy these videos where you run and then comment on it. Congrats!!
Watching you guys grind out a session while on an easy treadmill cruise made me feel really accomplished haha
My two favourite running people on social media. Religiously follow you both. Amazing, huge fan!
Great collaboration guys 👍both looking silky smooth on those reps 👌
Wow, quite the epic mano a mano (as we say in France).
Good luck in Manchester!!!
When the speedsters reunite. ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Love to see the collab return. Great work, both of you. 😎💪
Two for the price of one. Thanks both 😊
This was awesome 👏
What a session. You two are beasts!
my 2 inspirations in one video ... loving it
Awesome effort.
Very Nice!!!! 💯🤙🏻
Nice work guys 👍
Closing out at or close to 5k pace- that’s the competitive instinct kicking in! Tough after so many reps.
Very good keep it up👍
Awesome video !
Great work fellas! 🎉
#Boooomshakalaka & #Runtoinspire&inspiretorun my favourite RUclipsrs , thank you for inspiring me,great workout.
great vid great job caroline!
Well done! You are right about being aware of your surroundings, I have been attacked by dogs twice and ended up in hospital
Sorry to hear, some things you just can’t control. But yes, you need to be more alert than ever these days.
I couldn't do this for one rep! Incredible pace.
locked in, need for speed, lets gooo
Crushed it.
New shirt, looking good

Glad you enjoyed it. It was 60 seconds of an eeeeezy jog, basically a walk.
Great video, you guys are impressive! We didn’t see in the video but what about your rest periods? Slow jog or walking?
Glad you enjoyed it 🙌🏻 the easiest of jogs, basically a walk. Just to keep the legs turning over

Thanks so much! 🙌🏻 I have a Garmin forerunner 965
Think your marathon pace looked a lot like my 5k pace ha
You guys were flying
2 goats 🐐
3:13 he wanted to push the pace for you guys it seems, haha.
I run a km in 5 mins 30 so to see your pace is incredible. I Need to speed up 😂
If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a dog! Beginner runner here and your videos and attitude are always encouraging. Keep it up!
Great effort guys that looked tough ! Do you ever suffer from respiratory infections ? I seem to constantly be suffering them and it's so frustrating.
I don’t suffer from that but I do from nursery germs that you can’t avoid 🤣 try getting good rest between sessions and gradually building 📈 small progressions. That should help.
@@justalilbesterThanks Nick, Yeah, I think I do push my luck sometimes. 🤔
Nice guys 🙂
How long are your breaks inbetween the reps - sorry if I didn't listen oder hear it....
60 sec recoveries. It’s all on my Strava too 🙌🏻
I didn't watch the whole video, but how long are the active rests ?
60 sec throughout
Please Help me Athletes (dude)
My current pace is 20m 5k
how long does it train to reduce 2 or 3 min
Nick have you ever tried an ultra? Just curious
Do you get stitches and continue to run through them?
No stitches on this run at all. We fuelled well in advance.
@@justalilbester Thanks Nick. Do you think stitch can be brought on by lack of pre run fuelling? Running on a fast for example?
@@DavidBond668 there’s lots of reasons. A common reason can be fuelling too close to the session.
@@justalilbester thanks Nick
Awesome colab!👍🤝
Ffs people, keep the dogs on a leash!🤦♂️
Looks like more arm swing from Nick than Ben. Is that more efficient doing so? Darn dogs off leash!
🐐🐐
Carolina is the Best of the video 😂
Running that fast, then a dog jumps out at ya,😮 it's easy to pull a muscle when that happens or something even more serious.
You should make a video on running until you find 15 things in the Periodic Table
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Make sure that pencil neck never beats your marathon pb
