I love the feel of soil in my hands. It’s so calming. Even in summer when the sun has warmed up the bag it feels wonderful and is like therapy. I have the cutest gloves and don’t wear them unless I’m cleaning up limbs and such or raking. I use a nail brush to clean them but I definitely need something to use after washing.
Gosh do my hands need this video?…. Thanks Karen for this❤️
A nail brush is for sure is a must! After working in the soil my nails are destroyed, the cuticule oil is a great suggestion, must try that brand :) Happy Gardening 🌻
Bloody here for this!!!! Got my nails done this week - my monthly treat to myself - but she said to me, "I see you're back in the garden. Do you want to go for black polish?" 😆😆
I love to feel the soil. I will wear gloves when dealing with my rose bush. Thank you for great products to use ❤❤
Definitely, I dont wear gloves either because you're connecting with the earth, its the same as walking barefoot on the grass or paddling in a stream or walking barefoot on the sand at the beach. We're drawn to do it because it recharges your batteries. I know it sounds woo woo but I believe it, I've even got an earthing sheet on my bed! xx
Thanks Karen for that inspiring video to help us take care of our hands. I always use hand cream, but I've been looking for a good one 👍
Eucerin is divine, as well!
Je suis un "jardinier", very French today Karen. ❤
Funny cos I got my nails done on Friday and bought some hand cream as they really needed it. I absolutely love l'Occitane, but I picked up a lemon grass Sheer butter from the beauty salon and I quite like it too. I always wear gloves when gardening but I will definitely try without next time I am in the garden!!
Thank you, very lovely video, really enjoyed it!!
Hi Karen,
Loved this vid 💚
I want to get these products now, thanks for recommending them…
I'm inspired to be a little more 'self-caring' which I definitely need here 😊 Thankyou My Lovely 💐
sending love & best wishies to yous x
My cut up, splinter filled, so crusty it hurts hands THANK YOU for this!!! 😂
There’s nothing like spring dirt digging that results in dirt under the fingernails and cracked hands that can’t be fixed with any amount of lotion or oils!!!! 🥰
Hi Karen interesting video and informative, your nails are beautiful as is your eye colour, have a lovely week 😊maybe you could do a video on how you do your nails I’m definitely interested in your nail light my nails are terrible I will check out the products you mentioned 😊
Karen you are delightful😀😍
Oooooo just what I need my hands are very dry at the moment maybe because of all the gardening 🧑🌾 I will definitely try, thanks 🙏🏻 x
Hi Karen, thanks for the recommendations. applying the treatments at night with cotton gloves let them work their magic while you sleep 💤.
🌱Most important is sunscreen 🧴. Sun damage is real, skin cancer but also hyper pigmentation, loss of elasticity etc.. applied 30 minutes before sun exposure ☀️ even on overcast days 🌥️
Thanks for highlighting our hands 🙌. Nothing like the feel of soil 👩🌾💐
My brother says he remembers me actually eating mud, I must have been 2. Don't remember but I do remember being 3 and going out having a bath in a muddy puddle at 6 in the morning. Ya can't beat a bit of nature lol😂 Mam was not happy with that, as you can imagine. L'occitane hand cream is amazing, I got the almond one as gift at Christmas. Just beautiful, I was sad when it was gone 😢 but I love atrixo as it feels nice, smells nostalgic. My mother always used it. I found lidl chamomile hand cream lovely 💚
Loved this video, and all your other content. Thank you for the recommendations!
Great advice! I also love the loccitane hand products. The smell is do classic. I do like planting without gloves but when I weed I have to wear them because this one type of weed I get gives me splinters 😢
Love this, I'm a professional gardener and my hands are so dry. I put tons of cream on many times a day. Would love some "cheaper" supermarket hand creams that I can pile on please x😊
Hi my love enjoyed the lesson on hands iv never tried locitane but I will try. My hands are very dry even though I use hand cream and let's not discuss my cuticles. 😊😊😊
Thank you for another lovely video, Karen! I live in France (originally from the US) so I'm thrilled your products were mostly French! I do love the Cicaplast for healing your skin; it works wonders! Also, a brand here that I adore for both the smell and quality is Biotherm--it smells incredible and feels incredible and not at all oily (I have very dry and sensitive skin). I especially love their "blue therapy with life plankton" line. Cheers! 💚
OK I am soooo easy to sway I have visited the l'occitane website and ordered some handcream..... thank you for the recommendation, I hate my dry cracked hands, I have an office job by day (and I have man hands haha!) and when I am home I am dealing with the garden and our pets and so I need something to rescue my hands quickly! I'll let you know how I get on 😄
Aww love to see our hand creams and cuticle oil there! Really the best for nourished hands 🥹 also, is it a Provençal bunch of lavender with that holder you bought in Provence on the right side??? ♥️♥️♥️😘😘😘😘
Thank you Karen. Your hands and nails looking good. Yes that is a great product.
Now I'm using Trader Joe's Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream also with 20% shea butter.
$4.99 US.
In a silver metal tube and it makes my hands feel so good.
Have a great week.
Hope you will be having sunny days?
Hi dear, lovely beautiful video thank you❤
I would love recommendations for a face spf for sensitive eyes. I struggle with putting anything on my face because if it gets in my eyes that’s the day ruined… they are just scratchy and watery all day long.
What a lovely video! As a fellow gardener I really needed to see this. How would you describe the fragrance of the first two creams?
hello, I was wondering what type of polish remover you use with the light cured nail system? Thankyou!
I have four pairs of gardening gloves, they're cleaner than my hands after a day in the garden. 😂 I just HAVE to FEEL the soil and the plants.💚 I made a wattle fence out of cut raspberry canes around my rhubarb, did I wear gloves? No. Should I have? Yeah. 🩸🩹 I use Burt's Bees hand salve (when I remember).
