In this clip, Lord Jamar and Vlad discuss the Best of Both Worlds collaboration between R. Kelly and Jay Z, in which Jamar states emphatically that he used to love that album. From there, they talk about how R. Kelly sabotaged the tour with unreasonable demands, leaded him to be reportedly pepper sprayed by a Jay Z associate for his erratic behavior. They also reflect on R. Kelly writing "You Are Not Alone" for Michael Jackson and how his alleged sex tape was released during the height of his career, leading Jamar to question why the public turns a blind eye to known abusers in the industry whenever it seems convenient.

Facts!! I was 22 years old when I read in Jet magazine that R. Kelly had "married" 15 year old Aaliyah. I had a daughter of my own at the time. My first. I remember marvelling that no one seemed to make a big deal out of it. I never bought another of his albums again!

I wish people understood why Dame didn't "speak up" or whatever. The love of his life was not yet ready to confront her trauma or the man who did it to her. Anybody who has dealt with someone who's been abused understands that you operate on their terms. Almost like outing someone from the closet. If every time Dame asked her what happened and she said she wasn't ready and changed the subject, what exactly is Dame supposed to do? Dame wasn’t about evolution; look at where he is now and where Jay is, career-wise. Ultimately, being an artist, Jay is a visionary and it served him well. Dame is just a business man. When Jay became more business-savvy, he no longer needed Dame. Shed that weight!!

yep, Unfinished Business dropped with like NO fanfare at all. It was decent. I was intrigued by the joint album with Birdman. and it started to kind of set off a trend that died fast soon after too. Ginuwine and LL Cool J were in talks to do a similar project.
