In this video (that I have had tucked for about 4 weeks now) I give you my own PERSONAL outlook on what exactly happened to the car market, and why we have seen some of our favorite cars shoot up to prices higher then they were back when the cars were NEW!

Good stuff. Important to remember that although Dealers often make more on the back than on the front (marking up the rate), that money is not fully guaranteed. The prioritized list of gross would be- 1) Front end 2) Rate 3) gap 4) products (tire protection/Simonize/etc) The last two can be cancelled at any time and rarely does a loan make it through its original duration

We’ll if the loan doesn’t make it then either 1. it was paid in full (lose the money on interest but still got paid for the car, not a bad situation) or 2. The client defaults, car is repossessed and resold, in the situation of the past 3 years that was actually a GREAT thing bc the cars could be resold for higher then their value

Bought a 335is march of 2020 for 22k w 50k miles on it, at the time a clean f80 comp 6mt was like i swear 40-45 max, 6/7 months later 335is fully loaded w 50k miles was selling for 27k and up. Of course we all still see these stupid prices on the F chassis
