The United Nations / World Economic Forum governance telling governments & everyone else what to do for Net Zer0 or the world will burn, pfft. It is lies. The IPCC who advises them on climate change say there is no Climate Emergency. So why are they do they lie?... Because it's the new Gold Rush worth £4b a day. There's the real reason.

You have hit the button with that statement. At least the company who came out with that idea went bankrupt. I guess EV heaven is weary all the burnt out EV’s go to rest. I heard the rumour that the the London Mayor told all the the bus companies to buy electric buses as this was his idea of stemming the population of London. I don’t know how old you are, but you may remember when Daimler in the 1960’s built electric buses, in Coventry you always saw the buses broken down waiting replacement batteries. We are definitely going backwards.

You could tell if someone had money if they had something unusual like a bmw 5 series. Now, any Tom dick n harry can have a super car. How the hell could people afford to pay ridiculous prices for these cars. A local Barman drives the new defender 110. WTF.

For all practical purposes, just as all banks are under common ownership at the highest level, so that real competition ended in 2009 if not earlier, the same thing is happening in the automotive sector. Luxury car tax started 2021, its additional £410 so £600ish total for 5 years and starts after the first year. “Luxury” cars are now x1, xc40, q3 unless you get the Bobby basic ones. Then you’ll wait 4 to 6 months to get one as they’re knocking out EV’s as the government demands . The price of secondhand cars are reaching stupid levels as sensible people want an ice as it could be their last one and because of low COVID production in 2020-2022 there aren’t many of them to go around. This government has royally fudged the economy and I can’t see the next lot of liars being any better.

The whole car is in original as new condition. I only paid £8300 for the car, £985 for the cambelt, tensioners, water pump, DSG and Haldex service, and £250 for a full service after that. A remap took it from 135bhp to 176bhp after 11 runs on the 4x4 dyno. 0-60 went from 10.4 seconds, to a staggering 6.9 seconds! There's a 0-60 run video on my channel. It feels more like a 230bhp map. Zero depreciation. This car is a keeper. Easily gives me 45mpg combined and almost 60mpg on the motorway.

I spoke with a Tesla 3 owner a few days ago and asked her how she was getting on with costs? She said her insurance had gone up considerably, that a lot of companies wouldn't give her a policy, that no insurers cover the battery - at all - and that the only way she affords the electric for it (and that she bought the EV in the first place) is because her family runs a small business and got grants to discount the purchase price and can claim back the electric bill. I asked her what happens if the battery sets on fire? She said "Well that's a different issue and I have no idea what the insurance firm would say or do..." I asked but what about if the battery goes faulty and needs to be replaced, is she aware that even cheap little EVs like Nissan Leafs and Renault Zoes, a replacement battery is around £20k+ (unless the brand do specific schemes) and a lot of the time, the EVs end up getting written off? She didn't know that. I also asked her about range anxiety and lack of chargers / waiting times at chargers when someone else is using it. She said "Oh, we have a diesel car too, so we use that when we go anywhere." I rest my case.

Unfortunately getting a visa to permit you to stay longer than 90 days is almost impossible.
In France, we missed the deadline post Brexit because it had never occurred to us that we might want to stay in our apartment in France for longer than 90 days.
Now, even using a French lawyer schooled in the right procedure, we’ve got absolutely nowhere with it.
I think it’s an informal policy agreement between Whitehall and the EU Commission not to enable these visas, even though it’s good for their economies to have foreign owners spending their money in their country instead of in their home country or worse, spending it in more distant destinations.

Simple service. Brilliant turning circle and wonderful visibility. No rust at all in the 20+ years I hd it. £80 for a new exhaust. Crap brakes though, no servo so right foot workout every time you have to stop.

I had a new Cortina 1600 E in 1968 I had a new Ford Capri 1600 XLR in 1970 as well as the new MK3 Cortina top of the range in 1971. Cars then were affordable and they seemed more exciting then. But now they all seem to be similar and far to expensive.

Not in a million years. The electric cars are far too expensive. Plus has the Government forgotten where the electricity is made. The vast majority isn't environmentally friendly power. I'm staying with petrol till the very end. Hopefully there might be better options if petrol and diesel does get discontinued. Great information in your videos.

Between 1994 - 2005 the Corsa was sold in Australia as the Holden Barina. In its final year before it was replaced as a Daewoo, the base model 1.4 manual sold for AU$13,990 new. £38,000 = AU$72,142. You’d have to be mad to spend that much on a Barina! That kind of money here would get you into a nice 2017 Caprice V8 with money to spare or even a Monaro or HSV.

I live in a small village in scotland with a wide flat kerb. We got a warning for having 1 wheel with on the kerb about 8/10inch still lots of space for wheel chairs etc. But u can have an EV power cable running across the pavement to your car becose that's totally easy to push a pram/wheel chair etc over. We had a car written off 2 year ago after a large tractor squeezed through the village and damaged the whole side of the car so a little bit more room on the road would help that

In all seriousness, most people assume they’ll can the EVs.
I think these car companies have been instructed by WEF to literally bankrupt themselves.
That’s what I expect to happen.
They had a little rehearsal in 2008.recall in USA when all the giants had to be bailed out by the taxpayer.
It won’t rescue them a second time and that’ll end mass production in USA. Same thing in Europe and U.K.
We’ll be left with Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls Royce and little else.
Everyone will have to lease a Chinese EV or walk. Because they’ll tax or legislate the older vehicles off the road.
In 2030, we’ll own nothing and be unhappy.
