@CCAutoWorks thanks for the reply! I've got an 89 with the cat delete and a 2 chamber muffler dumped out the side. It sounds good but I could use more volume. Guess I'll for a single chamber muffler or maybe a dynomax bullet muffler.
@CCAutoWorks not like you do. Maybe one day. Basically, I just deleted all the smog stuff and have 3" exhaust. I have an injector spacer, air cleaner spacer, and 4" tall air cleaner. Just very cheap basic stuff. It does pretty good though. Spins tires through 1st and 2nd before it gains any traction.
So glad i watched this. I need to solve my wheel hop. Its rough with 33in tires. And then u said at the end that it will raise ur truck when u tighten it down which is great. My rear needs a light lift. Done put spacers on the rear but i need a slight more lift for hauling boats
They do work and do the job but if your is a lifted truck they will go on to I believe and with them on top of the axle idk if they will still give a little lift or not
Wow at first it looks like intall the caltracs its very easy... But it's not! A lot of effort. Patience n resistance to be there laying on the floor. Awesome video! Just finished watching, love it!👍
I appreciate that arod
Add a drop shackle to fix the stance
Now it has some miles on it it's good
Was very rewarding to see that old bushing come out.
Yessir it was a job to get it out too lol
what drop mines 5/6 and fixing to buy my traction bars
Mines a 3/5
u dont have any problem with clearance with the tractions bars being to low on on the ground
@@rigovaldez162 no I've never hit them on anything we have a lot of speed bumps around here and they clear fine

What exhaust system are you running!? That thing sounds mean as hell!
Long tubes x-pipe single chamber muffler dual in dual out true duals 2 1/2 pipe

Great job!

I've seen some people remove one piece of the leaf spring on each side. Did you guys do that?
No we didn't

So traction bars lift the rear of the truck up ?
Just a little bit when you over tighten them

What do you mean by low profile
@@CCAutoWorks the calbert guys say that are 2 designs for traction bars the low profile n the race or drag ones.

I would rather lift the truck a little than to continue wheel hopping and eventually break something.
Now that it's be awhile the truck actually settled back down
@@CCAutoWorks cool.
What's the tool you used to press the bearing in? Ball joint presser?
Yes it's a ball joint press and them things are hard to get in
