In Sports news, our Silver Fox Basketball Teams competed twice last week with away games on both Monday and Wednesday evenings.
On Monday, the teams traveled to Ocean Bay and unfortunately neither team was able to come up with a victory, however the boys game was a nail-biter right to the end.
Then on Wednesday the teams took on Blackwater and…the girls lost their game while the boys finished their regular season with another victory!
With the end of the regular season, that means it is time for the playoffs to decide on the teams that will compete for the Horry County Schools Championship.
Congratulations to the boys on making the playoffs. The first round of playoffs will be held on Tuesday January 30th, Their second round will be on Thursday Feb 1st, and their championship game will be held on Monday Feb 5th so let’s wish our silver fox boys luck.
If you are interested in trying out for any springs sport these are available, Baseball and Softball, Boys golf and Boys tennis, Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Boys and Girls Soccer, and Boys and Girls Track and Field.
