Mate if you’re paying over £100 for a steak I would want it cooked as I said, shitty restaurant, shitty staff but respect to you for keeping a smile and thanking them, shows the level of character you have. Great to see you back!!
The waiter was fine. It’s more like the chef back there doesn’t give a shit. That 2 secs of the chefs demeanour sums up everything.

I know this comment is 6 months old but - She was honestly confused, she asked in czech "Is it actually 15 minutes?" to the cook or whatever. The only scummy part that I've seen is that they didnt do it rare :D

Love your videos, but the Qatar bit isn't sitting well. Annoyingly, you're the second youtuber i follow that has been hunted down and presumably financially rewarded by the guys in charge of things there to give them positive coverage like this. Disappointing.
He has been to North Korea. Most places in the world have some sort of baggage in the eyes of someone if you dig deep. Everything in this world is somehow connected. If you can't live with that conscience ethically, stop giving him clicks and get off the Internet. Check your everyday products for unfair labor and then you can feel superior to everyone else. At some point, people have to stop being consumed by all this stuff and have a normal life. And everyone has a right to decide for themselves where to draw the line. Travel RUclipsrs are usually open-minded, they want to see things for themselves and make their own judgments. Of course, not everything will conform to their values and beliefs, but at least they can say they've been out there in person and didn't get superficial information from the news while sitting on a couch at home.

Love the videos mate, but Qatar is corrupt AF and many people have already died building the stadiums. Crazy human rights violations for years now
True the Kafala system is problematic but at the end of the day it's a FIFA decision to have the World Cup in Qatar and personally if I had the opportunity to go to the World Cup I would do it. It's easy to say you'll ''boycott'' if you can't go anyway due to a lack of time etc. Would you still feel that way if you were offered go to as media by FIFA? My first and only visit to Doha was awesome and I would love to go back during the world cup :)

Simon mate, I'm a long time subscriber and will back you until the end but genuinely lost a lot of respect for you taking the Qatar sponsorship. I've always been inspired by your positive approach to travel and as a huge football fan myself would also struggle to say no to an opportunity like that. But representing a World Cup where the stadiums are built on 90% migrant slave labour, where workers lack basic human rights and dozens of people have died building stadiums is just not okay. You can't continue to ignore these comments mate.
I just think that your point of view is ridiculous these people would be at home in their home country starving to death if they didn't have the opportunities to migrate and to work they send money back to their homes andare able to support their dirt poor families back home and you say that's exploitation they're doing this of their own volition

Literally, one of my favourite RUclipsrs so stoaked to see a video, but after doing my dissertation a couple years ago on the corruption and Qatar World Cup, it is sickening to see some of my favourite influencers like Simon, Billy Wingrove and a few others promoting the world cup when they likely have no idea of the horrendous actions that have taken place for this world cup to happen. As someone who's lived in Qatar my entire life women are extremely respected here, women aren't checked for most things and are also given female officers or doctors, Qatar is also one of the safest countries in the world for them.

Court documents? This is Prague, a city suffering from overtourism and infamous for ripping off tourists. Don't expect officials to take you seriously.
well, as far as I understand the rules... the steak can be only cut into peaces if its ordered medium or well done. That means you can only order it rare if you leave it in one piece. but the waitress didn't seem to even have a f***ing clue about the rules. I def would have complained about being misinformed and given the wrong order as well.
