Can I just say, as this popped up in my feed, I used to watch Happy Hour all the time, emphasis on watch I guess, and after it went exclusively on Spotify w/out any visuals (despite the pretty new set), the show has now sadly gone completely off my radar. I only use Spotify in my car these days, and then mostly for music. I also really like to watch shows/podcasts, as body language and facial expressions add another valuable layer. There was talk of getting video to Spotify (like The Fellas had) where I'd make an effort to watch at home there, but unfortunately that never materialized. Anyway, good to see you're still around, and best of luck. 💙
The Giannis story is absolutely crazy I’m surprised it’s not a stand alone clip let alone the title. One of my favourite episodes every, up the happy hour ❤
Timmy Karter the legend is yannis’s friend who Simon met! There is video of a bit of this hotel room clip on timmys page, very old video just before timmy goes to mexico🔥
Iceland isn't as expensive as people make it out to be. Obviously its not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm from Ireland, and other than alcohol and one or two other things, it's relatively similar to Ireland. In fact, a general trip to the supermarket (Bonus or Kronan) is actually cheaper than home. *Also, I'm aware Ireland is also one of the most expensive places, it depends what part of the world you're from. Iceland is always mentioned to be out on its own though, when it's actually probably in line with a lot of Europe's capital cities.
I like Simon just wish he would strip it back to how he was with the no money challenges, much better content than hanging out with rich American influencers.
Sorry, but the most expensive country has to be Switzerland. I live there and I recently went out to dinner at a steakhouse in Zurich. They're charging you $40.00 per hundred grams of meat. In the 90ies you could get a decent meal for $40.00; now it won't even cover half of your main course.
Well, he did get a few generous people during some of his no money challenges. That being said, yeah they probably were fake but they were still entertaining.
Nah, they mentioned about Simon recently going to Vegas in this pod and he has only just dropped his Vegas video so I’d imagine it was because they didn’t want to spoil his next video before it came out
@@jakewilson7112 thanks!!! I was in Dubai for two months and you couldn't believe how little I paid for a room food groceries and public transportation!

french food is mostly nasty. I give respect to those cruller doughnuts though. Major cities here have nearly every kind of food on earth. Unlike Hong Kong, we expect massive portions though. We got an obesity epidemic to support.
depending on state, staying in cheap lodging is a nightmare here, and not even cheap. NY and Cali commonly use these cheap lodgings as homeless shelters. The places he mentioned staying are very mid tier.
@@jakewilson7112 I’m from CA, I’m very familiar with where he stays. There’s plenty of places in the realm of a best western/residence inn that are fine. He pretty much never stays in anywhere lower than a nice Marriott

If you dont understand the food diversity America has, you probably watch idiot food bloggers that grew up in the USA... or assume all americans are the diabetic trash media portrays.
If youre traveling to major cities in America, do NOT book discount lodging. These places are generally over run with homeless staying on vouchers, migrants, or drugs/prostitutes. Air BnBs are a safer bet.
