My first martial arts instructor and an amazing teacher. The history of karate is fascinating, especially from someone who has lived it, and can share the intimate details along with personal stories. Would love to hear more.

Outstanding interview, too often we see over-romaticised take on martial arts. It was extremely refreshing to see a down to earth take on the history of tang soo do. Thank you very much for this interview.

It's a mixture of Chinese and Okinawan and Korean arts. Beautiful

    Ka-ra-te = 3 syllables, empty-hand, not "Krawdi".

The host says "Tang Soo Do" as "psuedo" instead of "sue - DOH". It's "tong sue DOH" not "tong SUE doh". You're stressing the wrong syllable!

Why do all these "Grandmaster" look like the Buddha we see in the lobby of Chinese restaurants? Pudgy, overweight, high in hubris are these guys. They always have these mannions hovering about them. These "students" would not last a minute with a local MMA fighter.

First of all don’t disrespect Buddha, and 2nd he is old now. Please think before you hate on TSD.
