I've used the facial cleanser for 6 or 7 months now. However I have to say that I agree more on the fact that skin is a reflexion of our overall health and what we put in our body affects our skin as well as physical activity.
I'm so glad I never sunbathed and wore a minimum of spf 30 all the time even on vacation. I decided to do this in my very early 20s as my dad who was very pale, like me, got skin cancer. I ❤ this video. It has such useful information and answered a lot of questions I had especially about order of products.
I've minimised my skincare drastically, I only use retinol and tretinoin, some basic moisturiser and an SPF. I believe my skin looks good for my late fifties but nothing can stop my cheeks from becoming more and more hollow, as I'm really skinny, or my neck from sagging. I'm trying to come to terms with it :-) Anyway, a good posture, a smile on one's face and overall energy do wonders for one's self-esteem.
@@emilianoliburdi3888 I've read such mixed reviews regarding that procedure that I can't be sure. Anyway, it probably costs an arm an a leg ;-) Cheers!
@@Fred-zt5ky I alternate the two, perhaps it makes no sense whatsoever (?). I use retinol (or retinal) more often in the summer, tretinoin about twice per week. After the summer I use tretinoin every other day. The beginning of the "journey" with prescription tretinoin was quite difficult, my skin started to peel like crazy, now it's absolutely fine.
I don't have any specific recommendations for other products. Being on all of the right, high quality anti-aging ingredients can be expensive. An effective system is complicated and requires a lot of components. However, the Trifecta bundles all of those components which actually makes it 2-4 times less expensive than if you were to get all of these active ingredients separately.
Thanks to your great videos I am watching for many years, I have a very religious skincare routine including actives, exfoliants, red light therapy and micro-current. I am also living very healthy. This is why I love your videos and the weekly emails journals that are full of helpful information. Thank you so very much Dr. Karam.

Yes, people with vitiligo can generally use retinol, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid, but while these ingredients are generally safe, it’s always a good idea to patch test new products and discuss them with a dermatologist to ensure they won’t interfere with any treatments you’re using for vitiligo.
I'm a man, I need a simple steps which cover all of these steps, sometimes I use cider apple vineger and water as cleanser, apply serum rarely if needed, and alove vera as moisturazer occasionally, but I use sunscreen every single day, is it enough?

Hi the best doctor ever🌹in my routine I'm potting hyaluronic acid first then vitamin c or retinol. Should I do the opposite means vitamin c or retinol first than hyaluronic acid? Thanks a lot
It's generally recommended to apply hyaluronic acid first, followed by either vitamin C or retinol. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, meaning it helps your skin retain moisture, so applying it first allows your skin to stay hydrated and better absorb the active ingredients that follow.
Yes to address all the different aspects of skin aging that would be best. I know it’s a lot but that’s the optimal approach… that’s why I simplify it into 3 steps with the Trifecta. Check out the Karammdskin.com for more info

However, acids cause redness so I have been using them every other day. Anyway, wondering if your skin care recommendations is for all skin types,
Hi Karine, all of these are suitable for sensitive skin. However, if you have an allergy or intolerance for a specific ingredient that's a different story. Even the most gentle ingredients can cause a reaction is someone is allergic so it depends on your situation and varies from person to person.
Concerning rétinol do you recommend to do a pause during the weekend for exemple. That what i m doing : monday to friday rétinol and the weekend mask, exfoliation and radio fréquency.
I formulated the Trifecta to be used every day. The retinol is encapsulated for a slow release and contains a moderated dose so it can be used daily. Ultimately, consistency is what matters so if what you're doing is yielding results, stick with it.

Thank you for this doctor. My question is, what can you use instead of Retinol if you’re pregnant, trying to get pregnant, and/or breastfeeding? Thank you so much!
