I saw Wojciech Pilichowsli years ago in small polish club. I was standing about 3 meters from him. How he played was just unreal. I am glad that he is recognized in the world because he is a great and talented musician.

I don’t come out in the video but I was actually to your right watching him play this live at NAMM couple years back. This brings back memories so sad NAMM is canceled due to the pandemic.
I guess he just show his slapping skill randomly and doesn't even think about any tab or related sheet, I saw that kind of "practice" or "show off" in music store all the time, but never read this kind of things actual transform to tab...... great job and admire.

Cool! Thanks for posting this! I don't play much anymore but I'm thinking about going back and relearning a lot of stuff. I moved to 5 and 6 string basses earlier in my life. The downside was it was harder to play slap lines. I really should go back to 4 string.

Any advice for those triplet ghost notes?
haha Yeah, Wojtek is amazing. :) For the groups of three scattered throughout, follow the slapped ghost note with an index finger pluck on the D-string and a middle finger pluck on the G-string. Turn your wrist to pluck the two strings with one smooth motion. It'll feel kinda flamy, instead of two distinct plucks.
@@NateNavarro Bless you for giving advice like this just because we asked. I couldn't have articulated the technique half as well. It'd probably come out as "to a more plucky with many finger."

so I have always thought I would never be able to play this but I've been chipping away a bar or two a day. If anyone's having trouble, try putting the vid at .5 speed and really try to listen to the rhythm of the notes especially the mutes. Probably obvious advice but hey if you can play it slow you can play it fast. Good luck

I’m a bit confused when it comes the the parts where all notes are “ghosted” is it just a full down strum with all muted notes?
what does the circled T with all four strings muted mean?
I really understand how hard this is. Not only did I play an upright bass or double bass, I also play the bass guitar a little bit. In orchestra the songs were difficult because of fingering, I feel in guitar its more of the picking with your right hand thats hard.
Holy Cow, this requires several months to get it done right
I guess the point is, practice all the techniques till they're fluid, know your scale and make your own solo, because you'll never get this spot on as it's so much about player personality. But with those months of practice on the different techniques your own solo would definitely sound cooler and more virtuositic
