First lesson dont buy a Boss rc2. Whilst a very stable and solid loop pedal all the double tap thing can be too much for beginners .
purchase mabey something like a Ditto x2 with an independent stop button thats next to the rec/overdub button..much easier
i use an x4 with separate loop channels

    • @justinguitar

I have and like the ditto pedals too - but this one has a drum thing which can be a massive help for beginners - more on that soon!

@@justinguitar Can you talk in a future video about how to connect a looper pedal (especially with regards to drumming/backing track functions)? Is this actually possible without an effects loop (which a lot of beginner amps don't have)? Also checkout the new Boss RC-10R... And great video (especially the intro)!

Wow the sound of that lickstarting at 2:23 made me snap to attention. Being the geezer that I am it put me in mind of Eric Clapton's old sound from his first solo album. See the solo from Let It Rain. I love that sound and you getting it out of a double coil on the neck pickup is astounding. Nice job Justin, and good looper info. Cheers and thanks.
