I have a 2025 manual and after using it for about 30 minutes I wouldn't even consider hydrostatic. I just love it the way it is. It's perfect for acreage
I have the Hydro and I like it because I live in the mountains with little room to move on 2 acres.
I also have the 2025 MST I’ve had it for two years I have no complaints.
Do these come with a geared transmission and/or Shuttle Shift?? I know the J.D. 3025 D which is just about the same as E series do come with geared Shuttle Shift Transmission. Thank You.
I notice a lot of comparison videos talk about the bucket joystick location. But every model tractor is different. The JD 2038r has the joystick mounted right on the side as well. But I was already leaning bobcat before this video. With JD you pay for the name and less features.
The only reason I can see to buy the John Deere E-series tractor is if you are trying to colour match with other, much better John Deere equipment you may have on a farm. It doesn't take much effort to see and find out that Daedong (Kioti/Bobcat) and Kubota build much better tractors in this class.
How does Bobcat CT 2025 compares to Kubota L4701?
One big problem with Bobcat is if you add any wheel weights or tire ballast they will instantly void your warranty. In addition, they are a rebranded tractor made for Bobcat by Kioti. This is good news because you can purchase this same superior tractor directly from Kioti and add all the ballast you want for safe front loader operation.
Raymond, The Bobcat CT2025 sells for less than the JD 3025 when equipped with a loader. You can expect more value when you get a Bobcat, and no aluminum rear end.
My 3025E was less than Bobcat quoted me for the ct2025
If you want a kioti buy one.
I agree I’ve had my CT2025 for two years and couldn’t be happier . Buy what you want.
Ordered my 2025 today with Bucket, mid mower, and excavator. 21k. I'm paying cash so I get the bucket free. The excavator is what is expensive. But I need it to work on my pond and my 2 creeks
Congratulations!! You will enjoy your new tractor.
So how do you like your tractor????
How much was the excavator? In the process of buying a CT2025 now and comes to about $28k with front end loader and backhoe.
With a backhoe for $21k??!! No way even a year ago that was at least $27k
What are the differences 2019 to 2020 for the cr2025?
CT2025 is the same. They started shipping in November 2019 as 2020 models.
@@macpayne5463 so no fixs to any issues or electronic updates?
@@BladeBarn No changes. This is a simple machine with no Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) or common rail fueling.
I would like the bobcat, but I cant get over the fact that it has a daedong engine while the jd has a yanmar… wish they’d change that with at least options.
Daedong engines are very high quality and very reliable; the company has been in existence since 1949.
So glad I’m a Kubota dude ! No Korean junk for me !
Price?
I wonder if this guy is going to buy a john deere?
What is the difference in resale?
Why would you want to sell a better tractor, haha?
Bobcat of the Rockies - Compare to a Kubota LX2610
Bobcat has to try again after failing in 2013 good luck! On parr’s down the road that is
to be fair, bobcat didnt have a team dedicated to their compact tractor lineup so there was a lot of shared responsibilities back then
now they have their own team to support it and already have a 10 yr plan laid out
Hmm imagine spending that much on a tractor and getting one of the most known brands in the world and you get a box store rider fuel gauge. John Deere should do better
Tim Caputo and de-featured 20% on most specifications. It’s about shareholder value for JD, not making a better tractor.
Your comparing the bobcat to the economy series John Deere, what do you expect. what’s the price difference. ??
Raymond Hodge,
Bobcat should be at the JDPrice or lower.
@@macpayne5463 In 5 years, with 500 hours, what's the expected resale?
Can you do a video on the CT2035
Jeep CV, The features of the CT2035 and CT2040 are the same as the CT2025 in the video and the JD3032E and JD3038E are the same basic tractor as the JD3025E. A couple of differences are the Bobcat loader lift capacity is even higher and the lift height is even higher. The built in weight of the Bobcat is 400lbs more.
JD still has the light weight and low loader capacity to stop you from doing work. I will do a CT 2040 video soon.
2035 has a little bigger engine and little bigger load. Everything else is the same tractor. You could enter change all other parts other than engine parts.
compare it to a 2025r and you don't need to get off the seat to take the loader off. i would give credit to bobcat as there Equipment is A1 but they don't even make anything on the tractor other than the name and logo. that said what a very balanced video between bobcat and john deere i tried to find other videos on bobcat and this is the first one i have found that isn't a showroom demonstration.
Thanks for the comments Chris. I did not use the 2025R as a comparison because it is a much smaller tractor. The JD 2025R loader lift capacity is 803 lb.VS 1389 lb. on the CT2025. The Weight of the JD is 1794 lb. VS 2634 lb. for the CT2025. The 3-Point lift capacity of the 2025R is 915 lb. (24"behind the lift point) the CT2025 3-Point capacity is 1631. I can go on and on but they are not comparable other than engine HP. I have never had a customer say they purchased too big of a tractor. Bobcat Tractor Mac
@@macpayne5463 don't get me wrong i hope its a good tractor but im just waiting for someone else to work the bugs out before i get one. my point was that every tractor has its ups and downs i have a massey 6480 which is in no way comparable to these i just wished i researched them a bit more as its great in the field but terrible on the road because its dyna 6 and i should of got dynashift but im not backing up JD compacts because they are all Hydrostatic which isnt ideal on certain implements
I am waiting on the delivery of my CT2025. As I understand it the Bobcat and Kioti are the same girl with a different dress on. Bobcat had the best deal for me at this time.and the closest Kioti dealer didn't have much of anything on his lot and no idea when he would get anything.
JD got written off as I was told that with JD's quick attach system, you are confined to buying only JD attachments.
However as the attachment system on the BC is an industry standard, i would think that there are several implements from other manufacturers that would work.
Am I incorrect in this assumption?
@@katiedotson704 You can buy after market loader attachments with JD quick attach too. Other tractor manufactuers try to spin this as a negative, when in reality it is no big deal. The JD quick attach work great, and you never have to beat the levers open when they freeze or rust in place like on a skid steer quick attach.
@@katiedotson704 do you mind if I ask what kinda deal you got on the ct2025?
The Bobcat is comparable to the NX series and maybe the DK series of the Kioti. Just buy the Kioti, I tried got two quotes one from Kioti and one from Bobcat. I got a lower cost for a Kioti tractor with more HP and more features than the Bobcat.
You are getting a kioti when you buy the bobcat
except that with Bobcat if you add any wheel weights or tire ballast they will instantly void your six year warranty @@doomman700
The Bobcat is not made by Bobcat. When they announced they were planning to bring design and manufacturing in house, alarm bells should be going off for people. Historically, manufacturer support in cases like this is very short lived as they don't want to support legacy products and vendor relationships. There's less control over quality control and lower margins. I'll give them a look when their offerings aren't coming out of a Korean catalog... and their sales reps are a little more honest in their comparisons. Until then I'll stick with JD.
Better yet, buy the same (not rebranded) tractor directly from Kioti. I have one in the DK series that can out work the equivalent JD by far in every regard.
I love the hydraulic pump flow argument. They never mention Deere has a dedicated power steering pump so under a load it still turns. This things turning performance will suffer with heavy loader work.i went with the Deere. This goofy bastard only makes me feel better about that decision.
And all of the above what makes bobcat better, how do you feel about that?
@@Jason-fo3ue I feel super about that
I have the CT2035, same as the CT2025. With a 550lbs flail mower hanging on the back and a load of trees hanging off the grapple it never wants for more steering. My friend has a 3025E and I would have also if they would have matched the CT2035's price. Did I mention the 5 years bumper-to-bumper warranty they threw-in? Resale will probably be better on the JD (sold my 1993 JD855 for $7,00 to apply on this one). That being said, I LOVE this thing!!! Less than a month old and 40 hours on her, she is an animal for her size :)
Wrong Deere for comparison but decades down the road will u be able to go to your bobcat tractor dealer for parts? Who knows? If not good luck...the John Deere u will!

This tractor is a Kioti CK2610 painted white with a bobcat price tag. Save your money and buy a Kioti.
observation: This video is way out of text and misleading. Let's hear the Deere side of this.
Wrong John Deere comparison
Coz III, What model would be the best comparison? Take a look at ruclips.net/video/Mmyrilpn22s/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/z8cCZ7KJkyI/видео.html JD and Kubota think it matches up.
Your guys purposely didn't compare it to a JD 2025 or even a 2032 or 2038 just so you could point out more differences. It's not apples to apples, kinda dirty pool really. JD has a lot of features too. Why no talk of a drive over, auto connect mower deck? Does Bobcat have one? I don't own either but I don't like seeing companies try to pull fast ones on comparisons. As long as Bobcat has been in business they shouldn't have to do that.
Furthermore, Bobcat is said to be a "sourced" tractor. So, who really builds it?
William,
Thanks for the comments. Let's look at a few specifications of the JD 2025 VS the Bobcat CT2025.
Tractor Weight JD2025 1793 lb Bobcat CT2025 2634 lb 32% more
Loader Capacity JD2025 803 lb Bobcat CT2025 1369 lb 41% more
3-Point Capacity JD2025 915 lb Bobcat CT2025 1631 lb 44% more
Implement Hydraulics JD2025 3.5 GPM Bobcat CT2025 6.9 GPM 49% more
In my opinion the JD 2025 is a much smaller tractor with much lower specifications than the CT2025. Just because they both start with a 2 in the model number does not make them the same. By the way the JD stamped deck is good but a fabricated deck like we have for the CT2025 will give you a great cut and last a long time.
William H kioti builds it
They're all junk, everything's junk nowadays
