Can't beat these trucks durability wise. Good basic maintenance all it takes. These are well proven trucks + '23 is even better. Change the fluids on time. Not just 5k mi oil changes but tranny fluid every 50k mis MAX. Coolant every 2yrs. Easy. Cheap. We run fleet of F150s & F250s. All owner of Co will buy! He's strick on basic maintenance. 💯 I just ordered a '23 F250 XLT Tremor myself. Black on black.

And that includes the fact they are mud coated most of the time. In a civilian use Id wager they will easily make bench with FOMOCO maitenance intervals.

It’s a nice looking truck, no doubt about that. If I had big money and small concern (they kind of go hand-in-hand), yeah I’d park my old pile of junk and go fancy like this. Unfortunately I don’t think I trust anything built after 2018 or so from any of them. Not enough for a working man to risk a 1000 dollar a month payment on anyway. My old rig costs me some money and downtime for sure but it’s not $12,000 a year or more.

Hey Paul, ended up putting some MT Baja Boss AT on my dually, to my surprise they are better than I thought. I know you’ve tried a ton of different tires for your trucks, but if you have one that does a good amount of snow or offroad you should give them a try sometime.

Paul, Saw your front splash shields are doing the same as mine, gotta push that top piece in on top where it rubs the strut tower or it rubs and wears the paint and the shield. they don't really afffix to anything well but factory doesn't really give a flying yoo hoo. About those wiring harnesses in the fender well, its really tight and have had numerous (6) warranty issues with chaffed wires rubbing on the frame causing alot of body codes and DEF Faults. watch for that
Seats in my Platinum i felt like falling into a toilet seat and made it hard to maneuver. Plus head rubbed on the roof liner with the sunroof, not sure if your order has that.

Yeah I can't believe how the new trucks tow. I have towed 28-30k with ram and powerstroke the biggest difference I saw was the engine brake did work better on the ram. With the 10 sp in my powerstroke it had noticeably more power on hills and I got 5mpg better mileage. Both good trucks. I prefer Ford though much more comfortable than ram imo.

There is 8 inches more cab length in the ford vs the HD Ram. A crew cab 6'9" bed has the same wheelbase as a Megacab(160") and it 2 inches longer overall than the Ram. On a crew cab 8ft bed there is 8c inches more wheelbase(168" Ram vs 176" Ford) and the Ram is 258" overall vs 267" Ford. Both have 8ft beds. There is a huge difference between the same configurations.

I'd also like to see some driving from a stop with light medium and heavy acceleration, while viewing the instrument panel and no talking (so I can hear the engine and shifting).
