Matt you are too good to us, you have put out countless videos to help me as a new angler. Thanks to Bridgford for sponsoring you and the monthly tip. I’m definitely picking up some jerky for kayak fishing snacks.
In Australia we don't use tube jig's ( not that i have come across - in trout fishing ) but I have used your method with hidden TT jig heads - WOW - trout love the 4" - ( would like to have a 3" version ) - ingenious - well done .
Great Tip! Have to try that. In the past I have usually cut the head off the bait and then butt it up to the jig head. Looks better but still super nose heavy.
Clicked on the video because I immediately noticed no jig head and was intrigued. I’ve always felt the same way! Wanted to know what hook you were using. Brilliant.
What a great tip. I always thought they were a bottom bait. I'm going to rig some up now. I caught about a 2.5lbr on my new Agent E yesterday. After tossing a jig around for 40 min I went to the E and got bit on about 4th cast. Felt like it got hit by a truck.
That’s such a great tip Matt, I recently put a spark Shad on a Dirty Jigs Matt Allen swimbait jig head and of course it had 4 eyes, I thought it looked goofy at best, but then I caught a 4.2 largemouth. I’m definitely using your tip on hollow bodies 😜💯👍✊🎣🍀 Good Luck in your next ProCircuit Event, I love watching the LiveStream👏👏👏
Ill definitely give this a try. I have couple packs of hollow belly still I do alot swimbait fishing past few years. I fish alot 6" magdrafts & 8" more recently. I pull harnesses out of them & rigg the 8's like a freestyle. Then u can fish through alot more cover & bunch bottom. I've caught all my pbs on swimbaits, largemouth, spot & striper. Thanks for sharing!
Hey this was great! I used your technique on a 4 inch Largo Shad. I could not believe the action, it vibrates like a Chatterbait. Got a couple of nibbles but, no bites. Thanks
Now that’s a damn good tips n I been fishing 40 years, and haven’t seen that one yet. I’ll try that on these Pickwick fish 😁👍
good luck!

Now, THAT'S thinking!! You're an Einstein of fishing! The light just came-on for me and I'll be using more of these "ignored" baits. Good call, Matt.
Awesome! give it a try!

Great Tip! Have to try that. In the past I have usually cut the head off the bait and then butt it up to the jig head. Looks better but still super nose heavy.

Brilliant idea! Thanks Matt!! Does this work better with certain length swimbaits - eg, 4-5” paddle tails? Or does it work fine with the bigger ones?
works great with the bigger ones as well.

I survive off Bridgeford summer sausage and crackers. Eat it everyday. I always cut the back when I rig like that instead of the belly.

Thanks. That’s cool! Never crossed my mind to rig like that.

Great tip, I love throwing small swim bates like the 2” Keitech easy shiner on a 1/32oz. Jig head but I can’t wait to try yours.
Good luck!
@@MattStefanFishing What is the smallest size does Berkley swim baits come in?
Excellent tip! Getting into big swimbaits but have never thrown any sized hollow belly
they make some big ones!
Those fuision19 tube hooks are awesome. I almost exclusively use those for everything.
Sooo sharp!
@@MattStefanFishing are they nano coated?
Great presentation..
Thanks a lot
Awesome tip! Can’t wait to try it out, thx Matt…tight lines 🎣
Have fun!
Very cool idea
thanks!
I like it. I'll buy those Storm swimbaits, but it's considerably more expensive then buying a pack of hollow bellies and some tube jigheads. Nice tip.
thanks!
Love it! Thanks, Matt, another great tip!
You're very welcome!
Thank you so much. I love fishing these but they tear up with only one fish. NOW I can fish them and save some money 👍👊😎

Scott Shea sent me your way!
@@robertgust5864 Awesome!
Done that with a swim bait head never thought about a tube head sounds like a good idea
give it a try! There are a few other specialty hooks that works as well but the tube jigs are really easy and available in lots of places
way to go,@Matt!! - I've been wrestling with this concept & never thought "Tube Hooks" - a la Homer Simpson...DOH!!
