Great review. I totally agree it's the best 'bum bag' ever 🎉😊

Good looking bag and you wear it well, it’s as much about aesthetics as is it is practicality for me. Keep up the good work, I’ve found your channel to be entertaining and informative as well as providing me with new route ideas that are close-ish to my home👍

Ive been using a Lowe Alpine waist bag which is very uncomfortable - the Collins bag looks good and im going to be hopefully getting one soon! Thank you for another superb review... 👏🏼

Using on old OMM Waist pack6 litre. 2" waist band is adequate. It has side pockets to the waist band for easy access, but no dedicated phone pocket. I now keep gloves in the bottle holder as that was a poor design. Works well for running or cycling, but wouldn't want to fill it to max capacity (to avoid carrying that much weight on the hips).

We called them fanny packs back in the day!

I use waist packs regularly for extra clothing or drinks. I have Rapha, Lowe Alpine, Bontrager and Alpkit. I think the fact I have so many suggests getting the right one is difficult 😂. That Collins does look good. The Alpkit had promise but the straps are narrow and a bit uncomfy especially as it is a large capacity bag. The Rapha one is ok but basic but suits specific needs, same for the LA which probably has the best straps. Sometimes I use an Osprey chest pack which works really well, it’s easy to see what you are doing in the bag as it is right under your 👃! Perhaps give that a try Osprey Archeon Chest Rig

Your backside performed very well! I hate cycling with backpacks though still not sure a laptop would be as stable in this. About how many kilos did you test with?

It would have to be a tiny laptop! Just under a kilo approx
