Is it me or does the game "cheats"? I have noticed that on some tables (it seems to be random) i can't seem to hit anything and/or the flippers do not have enough force to launch the ball over the ramps and/or the ball just exits the playfield way too easily. My last game and i actually exited it midgame in league mode, playing the road show table i have lost the ball about 20 times, always missed the targets and could not get the ball up on any ramps not too mention the amount of time water with the ball just going left and right on the lower deck of the table doing nothing. I mention this because i started an arcade game of this same table and had no problem hitting targets, going up the ramps and keeping the ball in the playfield. Like i said i see this happening quite a bit with the other tables as well which makes me believe that the game fudges with the physics.
It’s appears this has been patched out of the iOS version. Is that correct? The ball only plunges mid-playfield now.
You are correct, it no longer displays this behavior.
BlahCade Podcast Turns out Fish Tales is super easy for challenges anyway. If you take advantage of the ball save and just blast away at the center loops you can rack up points easy and quick.
I started playing this game recently in my tablet and I'm amazed at the quality of the tables. Is there a tutorial on how to play this game to unlock tables faster? Also for a tablet what would be the best camera view mode? Im using view #2.
I wrote one and posted it in the digital pinball fans forum, but then Zen changed the numbers of what was earned and when so it's not exactly accurate. Here's what you should do, and be aware it's going to take a few months...
1. Play at least 2 complete cycles of daily challenges each day. If a table is particularly difficult for you, spend the tickets to change it to one that is easier.
2. Play the limited timed challenges (there's one that just started) as often as you can. Once completed, they cycle 4 hours later. So realistically you should be able to play 3 times a day minimum. This is the easiest way to collect parts for the newest tables. Hopefully you'll get enough to get to 2 stars.
3. Save those coins! Don't spend them on anything other than upgrades or where parts are guaranteed. For instance, in the limited time challenges, spending the coin to flip a card WILL get you a table part. This is not the case in the regular daily challenges. It takes 100 coins for any tables final upgrade, and they don't come easy.
4. Learn to enjoy the 1 ball, 5 minute, and Survival challenges for what they are. You are not there to play a regular game of pinball, you are there trying to find the most efficient way of scoring. These skills will pay off when the ability to play a regular game of pinball becomes available!
5. Speaking of, once you have unlocked a table to 2 stars, you can play the table as a regular 3 ball game. You'll still need an online connection, and you won't get to play with the new Williams physics or the enhanced visuals, but that's where grinding comes in. If you truly are disappointed by that, consider buying enough coins to pay for the Pro Physics and Visuals Enhanced packs. They apply to every table you currently have, as well as any that come out in the future. Only buy Pro Difficulty if you want the Tournament versions of rules for tables.
6. Again, I cannot stress enough how slow your progress is going to be in the beginning. That's why you need to take advantage of any Limited Time challenge, as those are meant to help get you a focused set of table parts. Once you've upgraded 5 or 6 tables, the rest will come relatively quickly over the next month or so.

What would you recommend i would save the coins for? The realistic physics or visuals or what? I have been looking for a controller for my tablet to play pinball do you have any recommendations?
Finally i don't like the nudge option for the game. It's just not practical having to swipe the top part of the screen to nudge the table. It takes too long and messes up the finger action.
@@hammerjoe2008 I save coins for the 100 needed to do the 4 star upgrade. As you are just starting with the app and might want better play out of the 2 star experience, I recommend spending the coins first on the Pro Physics upgrade, then the Enhanced Visuals, followed by the Challenge unlock, and last the Pro Difficulty. I save that for last because it is the mode I least use.
Watch my one ball challenge vids to learn how to easily beat those. It is literally all about finding the safest shots and then spamming them. Boring way to play, but necessary. Also a good way to make you hate certain tables :D
Give a Tweet to @jaredmorgs about what controller to use with a tablet. I'm not up on those things. More to the point, I am not a nudge player so that doesn't factor much to me.
GEEZZ>. i bought yunkyard for the cheat for quick table parts.. now i bought fish tales.. only to read here in the comments it does not work anymore.. Thanks now i have to choose to reset and start over again .. or keep playing the normal way Pfff remove the video if it does not work anymore!!!!!!
