This is a killer song and so much better than Meat Loaf's somewhat lame cover version. This has such punch and flow and the great vocals of John is a joy to listen to. Long live the '80s!
Oddly I prefer this version. Its weird for me saying that being a huge Meat fan Though would love someone to edit the vocals of both into one version lol Do you know if Meat did a vocal demo of Magical at all?
@@danielevite8606 Man With a Vision, which had his Running Man soundtrack song "Restless Heart" on it was his third album in 1992. Though maybe it wasn't released in the US and I bought it as import album. I bought the CD so long ago I don't remember if it was an import CD or not. I would have to check the CD booklet to see if it was an import. I loved the song "Restless Heart" so I bought the CD.
I know this was JP's song, but the lyrics are so much darker than this rather twee video would suggest. The words speak of a inescapable obsession that stalks and devours... forever, mine forever.
Shockingly underrated artist
This is the greatest 80's video of all time!
What a great Song . A true masterpiece of John !

You should add Mark 2 to the main title. I much prefer the version off the self titled. Regardless thanks for posting these.
1stアルバムのアレンジの方が好き。
フレットレスベースのフレーズ、カッコいい。
Good stuff, but I will always prefer Meat's version.

Are you listening Bill Gates?! No Mark of the Beast!
You're right
Meat Loaf should made video, he had better vocals
I agree meat loaf did it much better
This isn't bad but I think meat loaf did it better
Also Aha's Take on Me was awesome!!
You thought wrong
I like both versions and John Parr co-wrote the song.
