Don't forget Bob Hughes is also up there.
Can't forgive myself to take time and watch these amazing movies until now that I'm 46 years.
Loved it when I was a kid. Could not stand it rewatching it now that I’m older.
RIP Wilford Brimley
I just found out about this movie, I never even knew it existed and I love Cocoon! It's too bad this trailer is so damn vague.
Sure made a lot of movie sequals in the 80's

Luckily I know the movie is. If a young whipper snapper of today would see this trailer. They wouldn't understand what was going on.
Ok fellow whipper snapper 😂
JE VIENS DE VOIR LE FILM SUR PARIS PREMIERE UNE MERVEILLE
In the version of "Cacoon" that I had seen had many versions, in the first version I had seen, the "old" humans and some younger humans are asked if "they want to go to their home planet" near/neer the end, and, at no Alien is killed.
In other versions, however, one of the "Cacooned" Aliens is killed when the "Cacoon" is opened because the "source of the "rejuvination"/"regeneration"" of the "healing waters" (the artistic "source" was possibly a "healing spring", possibly in a foreign land) is the "Regenerator" from the Cacoon being "used" on the Older and Younger Humans, and not the keeping the Alien alive (evidently it may have needed the "health support"/"healthcare" from the Cacoon).
There also was a version with multiple endings having titles for the endings (and sometimes not): "Good Ending", "Bad Ending", ...

Wow, That trailer tells me absolutely nothing about the movie, hardly begging you to go and watch it, is it.
@Kelly Targett And scored by James Horner 😁
Must be a teaser trailer.
Diabeeetus
Why mark these as full movie when they are only trailers? ANNOYING!
Nowhere are these marked as full movies. The titles all clearly state "trailer" or "teaser".
Hella weird movie
