i can understand people not liking the fatalities but the fighting is really cool and i like that they went with 2 fighting styles instead of 3 in this one and air combat plus there are soooo many characters
Create a fighter, the best thing about this game, i loved writing my ending words after defeating Blaze ans just see my character do those fancy moves at the end. So much fun.

I was just playing Mortal Kombat Armageddon on my 60GB PS3. The game looks great in 1080p resolution, widescreen + smoothing. It's the best Mortal Kombat game with the Konquest Mode and MK Motor Racing like Mario Kart and Kreate A Fighter! :D

Good review and I agree with most of his points. The large cast of characters was great fan service, as everyone's favorite characters were there. The kreate-a-character mode was simply awesome, especially since you could use your character online. The kreate-a-fatality was pretty weak in my opinion as I'd much rather have them done the old fashion way, but at least they tried something new. Konquest was an upgrade from DA and Deception and the Krypt was cool as always. The character endings...

I think it was a way to save time in releasing the game, because making fatalities for all 62 characters would have taken a lot of time and they wanted to get this game out before the PS3 and XBOX 360 were released. It obviously wasn't very popular, so I doubt we're ever going to see it again.
The creators where lazy or just rushing the game to make some fast money which makes me a sad panda because the game could have been the best of all mortal kombat games ! Also, why are not all characters optional in the latest mortal kombat ? Probably the same 2 reasons i mentioned before.

Armaggedon sure is bad in some aspects but the KAF was good, the levels were all there and some new ones were awesome, the characters were all still awesome and it's by far NOT the worst title in the series like... WTF? His name is Chris Redfield? O.o
Game was such a huge disappointment. The create a fatality ruined this game for me. The only good thing i can say about MK Armageddon was Konquest mode was awesome,and that's the only good thing going for the game. Didn't really care for create a fighter.

i thought it was extremely stupid what they did with adding so much useless characters that arnt original, like jarek reiko movado kobra darrius all those extra addons. I really loved Mk3 an Mk9 and Trilogy because of there originality and fun fighting. Mk9 was absolutely amazing , its fun to play and had a much better story campaign. armageddon sucked. so did deception , i kinda like motor combat but just those ridiculous excess characters, and that fatality system is stupid.
Sorry but this is one of the most disappointing games of the series. I HATED the combat fatality. Haven't we learned from MK3 that combos are hard to execute????
Combos are meant to be hard to execute, it's like a main feature of fighting games to distinguish bad to great players. You have literally no idea what you're talking about if you think combos are "to hard to execute" cause they're meant to be.

i never played this trilogy when it originally came out on ps2. I recently ordered all 3 and i have to say im having the most fun with armageddon.
